I ordered a couple of the new phones, in the first batch, on the first day and in the first hour.
In have tried to reach you multiple times (10+) to inquire about my order delivery.
Why do you not answer? The first official email asking for delivery details sent to you was on 2026-06-30, this email is and it followups are still unacknowledged. Not a wiff of interest from your part.
You yourself promised delivery in June, it is now August 11th!!!, what the hell kind of customer service/experience is this???
You are not alone. Not the first one asking this question here and not the last one (but hoping I’m wrong). And of course you need a personal answer. So let me try this:
I know one order from the first batch which is now in transit. The process is ongoing. Let the people proceed the shipment without breaks for answering questions here in forum.
I can do understand the frustration of lacking communication. But spamming Jolla with Emails won’t speed up the process, it does even slow down it for everyone.
I also think that your message is kind of rude. Jolla do have communicated about the current progress of deliver the devices. Yes, it is frustrating. Yes, there are problems. But at the end they all doing their best.
Given what you have stated, I assume that Batch 2 and Batch 3 orders, as well as September/October orders, will start shipping later than expected. As someone who supports Jolla’s efforts to offer alternative to Google/Apple duopoly, I will wait as long as it takes to finally get my Jolla Phone.
Please stop reaching out again. They are chronically overwhelmed with the amount of requests, and don’t have dedicated support staff (as far as I know). Also: Depending on how their ticketing is configured, adding a reply to an existing request might send it back to the end of the queue. Means: you’re maybe sabotaging yourself with that.
Just wait. They are (really) slow, but also nice people that are doing their best.
It was always “estimated delivered end of June 2026”, not “promised delivery”.
That being said: The first customers got the phones on the launch day on the beginning of July, with shipment of the remaining orders having started somewhere around mid-end July. You can sort-of see where they’re at on the Community Tracker.
Many phones are already sent out, and I, for example, are currently using mine. Shipments are rather slow, as it’s the main vacation time in Finland, and they’re having some troubles with hardware defects … but they are still happening. As said, they’re a small company, with no dedicated support or shipment staff. Phones are being flashed, packaged, sorted, and shipped all manually from employees that have other obligations, too.
TL;DR: Just wait. You will get your answers, as well as your phones. It might still take some time … and reaching out to them again and again might in fact harm instead of help you.
You are speaking to a user forum. I would appreciate you being as polite as possible. We all had or even have to wait and most of us understand. We understand because we communicate. Many of us including me are not interested in your feelings.
What feelings? I want to know the status of my order, Jolla does not answer, emails, tickets or social media accounts and does not communicate, this was the only place “affiliated” with them left
And what do you do when you fail to deliver on your own deadline? YOU COMMUNICATE THAT! Now the last information available is that batch #1 was shipping as of July 21st, that’s 3 weeks ago…
Like this:
Sooooo…
10.000++ phones times 3 e-mails per person = 30.000 e-mails to go through. pluss replies back and forward.
Pluss time to understand what those e-mails want, figuring out what happened to the order…
There are at most 40 emplyees at Jolla.
They communicated beforehand that the first phones will be handed over on their launch event, as well as the updated window for deliveries (of Batch 1) being July-Auguston the 27th of March:
if you have ordered using different email we won’t be able to swiftly match the pre-order # with your final payment order #. Such orders will take substantially more time and go to separate manual handling, which queue we clear once-a-week for now
The only thing that’s really interesting about this thread, in my opinion, is: why did my comment just disappear? No notification saying “Your comment has been deleted” or anything like that—it was just gone.
Well, then I’ll just try again:
Since you’re displaying such disgusting ableism and disparaging something you don’t like as “autistic,” I personally hope that you slip all the way to the back of the delivery line.
