EDIT: 17/07/2026 NEW/OVERHAULED SHEET, PLEASE RESUBMIT/UPDATE YOUR DATA.
Due to pre-order numbers and dates being more important than initially thought/hoped. If you submitted data before, I humbly request that you do so again by including your pre-order number and date, please read the information on top and the questions very carefully. Thank you.
EDIT: 21/07/2026 STILL LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WITH BATCH 2 PRE-ORDERS THAT ARE WILLING TO SHARE THEIR DATA.
EDIT: 01/08/2026 ADDED 3 MORE ENTRIES TO THE Q&A SECTION DOWN BELOW.
Hello everyone,
Using some of the feedback from my previous topic with the same name I’ve worked on putting together a Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker.
This tracker will allow the community to pool together their data to allow people to guesstimate the status of their order by comparing their spot in the community shipping tracker to others: i.e. roughly when will my package be shipped?
The more people participate in using the tracker, the more accurate the data and potential guesstimations will be.
Some information regarding the tracker
The Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker (JPCST?) is made using a three step process. There is a Cryptpad Form where people will be asked to answer a couple of mandatory and a couple of optional questions. That data is then exported to a .csv format where it is ran through a transformation workflow locally by yours truly, this is so that the output is in a readable format and any data that is required for the process but not vital to the public is scrubbed. Then that data is exported to a sheet format and imported into a Cryptpad Sheet where everyone can see the data publicly.
The Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker
As I’ve mentioned before, there is a Cryptpad Form for entering data and a Cryptpad Sheet for reviewing the community data.
The Cryptpad Form can be found here: Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker Form
The Cryptpad Sheet can be found here: Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker Sheet
Some words of advice: Please read the text above the form and the text after completing the form very carefully.
Nobody but you can edit the data in the form. Make sure to use the same device and browser when amending your data.
Edit: According to a post from Jojomen below, you can also create a free anonymous account to answer the form, that way you can amend your data even if you have cookies disabled. If none of those options work for you, contact me I guess.
A personal note
I still don’t think I’m the right person to be doing this, but I am doing it. If it is any consolation or reassuring: I care enough about your data to ransack my head about the best way to be doing this, I don’t care enough about your data to do anything nefarious with it.
I’ve had to balance asking for enough data so the tracker is useful/useable and requesting little enough data so there is very little that can happen to it. I’ve consulted with a few community members on the best way to approach this from a privacy standpoint and I believe I’ve created something that is acceptable.
If you do not feel comfortable sharing the requested data, that’s fine. If you do feel comfortable sharing the requested data, be aware that I can’t guarantee nothing will happen to it. I’ve tried to be privacy conscious but I found myself falling into a lot of what if scenarios that may not be likely to happen. All I can do is be open to feedback and answer questions.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How long does it take, for new or updated form entries to be updated in the sheet?
A: Best case scenario (i.e. you read all the questions and correctly entered the requested data): however long it takes me to see a new entry and click a few buttons.
Worst case scenario (i.e. your data does not play nicely with my workflow either because you did not correctly enter the requested data or your data is an edge case due to unforeseen circumstances): who knows/however long it takes me to get better data (if there is something wrong with it, I’ll list your name under ‘rejected entries‘ with an explanation) or however long it takes me to make a decision regarding the usability of your data/adjust my workflow to allow your data to be processed.
Q: Why request only the first x digits of the pre-order number and order number?
A: Because: 1. I don’t need your full order number to make an accurate guess where your spot is between all of the other entries. 2. Some people might be reluctant to let a stranger see their full order number, that is why I only request the first x digits. That way even I only have a 10% chance of guessing your order number correctly. 3. I just don’t want your full order number, I really don’t care about that last digit at all.
Q: Why don’t you add the ‘shipping method‘ mentioned in the payment confirmation mail to the list?
A: In order to keep the amount of questions as low as possible, I’ve opted not to include that. Quite a few countries are included in the Posti Parcel Connect shipping method and I imagine other countries are covered by similar services, i.e. there would only be 2 or 3 different shipping methods. Based on what country someone is in, one could make a decent guess as to how long shipping will take - certainly if an earlier order to the same country has already been completed.
Q: What is my C. -ISO supposed to be when I use a parcel forwarding service?
A: The C. -ISO is always the country Jolla is sending your package to. I don’t care if you live in for example Tuvalu (I’m sure it’s a lovely country and the people there are lovely as well) and your forwarding service or friend sends it to you but for the purpose of the Community Shipping Tracker please enter the destination Jolla sends the package to.
If you think the community would benefit from knowing you used a parcel forwarding service (or friend) in country x to get your package in country y and that took z amount of days, please add that information in the comment section (question 10 in the form).
Q: How do I contact you if my entry gets denied or there is some other issue with my data?
A: Reply to this topic, send me a DM here on the forums, or amend your data and add your issue/message for me in the very last question (question 11) in the form.
If your issue is that you can no longer amend your original entry and you still want to change your data yourself (as opposed to asking me to do it), make a new entry with as much identical data as possible compared to your original entry and it will work out (probably).
Q: Is batch September-II (for example) batch 4+ in the form?
A: Yes. For any batch above batch 3, please pick batch 4+ in the form when asked. I considered adding the other batches as answers to the question, but decided not to for the following reasons: 1. I dislike that the naming convention for the batches is inconsistent. The inconsistent naming batches also means the columns in the sheet need to be a lot wider, which looks odd when viewing rows corresponding with batch 1-3 (which is the vast majority of entries). 2. The batch number data is mostly used to verify other data such as pre-order date and pre-order number. I’ve already spotted numerous entries with data that doesn’t line up, which was promptly corrected after rejection. 3. I expect demand from updates from the Shipping Community Tracker to have died down significantly by the point we reach the later batches, so it may not be an issue. Maybe not, we’ll see.
