Afair, Sailfish does have a built in webview, but i can’t see how this could be related to the browser’s performance
There is an emoji (not colored) keyboard, you just have to select it in Keyboards-Settings. Edit: there is/was a patch to make it colored.
You can also install the new FUTO keyboard, download emoji set and use that with it.
In the input methods section of the settings, the first item should be your enabled keyboard layouts. It might seem like a single item option first, but actually it is a list. Clicking it should open a list that you can choose multiple layouts from that are enabled, instead of the default picked by system language during the initialization of the phone. Emojis are one of the layout you can select here.
With the second option you select the default layout you want the keyboard to open to.
You can change the layout on the keyboard either by pressing and holding the space bar and selecting the language from the small menu that opens, or by swiping the keyboard to the side towards the language you want to use (I think they are in alphabetical order). Sometimes if you type too fast with letters close enough to each other, the phone thinks you swiped and changes the layout, which is known issue and Jolla is investigating 
One might think what is the difference between layouts, if you can type the words with your current layout, but it also changes the word prediction list to that language.
Oh yeah i am using the FUTO keyboard but i am surprised the default one has emojis because i couldn’t find them before. And you are right, there is an Emoji option in the list of languages. Pretty cool. Tho there is just a few of them there.

But it uses the same engine as the default browser

Do you own still the other device? For me best practice is to handle the few cases at home with other device. Works great and no pain. 95% sailfish does the job very well and for the last 5% doin at home on the other device.

question: has anyone ordered JP2 accessories only since August 2026, and received their package?
if so, what date did you place the order, and when did you receive the order?
i know they are focused on JP2 fulfilment, but i’m curious if non-JP2 orders are being handled in the same queue.
i worry that non-JP2 orders won’t ship until next year.

Ordered some cases ten days ago. No info since then and I think they focused on jp2 - whats comprehensible

I was in batch #1, received my phone over a month ago but did not receive the Inari blue cover. Instead there was a note stating that Jolla was temporarily out of stock and the cover will be delivered later free of charge.
Has anyone else in the same situation already received their Inari cover?
