First post here, despite being a long time user of Salifish. In 2014 I’ve bought the First Jolla phone (still have the TShirt). Then, in 2016 I’ve managed to buy an Intex Aqua Fish, all the way from India. Four years later, installed Sailfish on a Sony i4113 Phone and..this year bought the C2 phone. As a former user of Meego on Nokia N9, I’ve always believed that the successor OS will keep going, and still believe that. So I’ve pre-ordered the latest 2026 Jolla Phone.
I have to admit, never had Sailfish as a long-time daily driver, but I managed to use them for days and weeks, from time to time. For me, the lack of a stronger hardware and a more powerful camera were deal breakers, but still belive that one day we’ll be able to port Sailfish in a blink of an eye on many devices, Lineage OS style.
Anyway, unfortunately this was a full year and never got to open and experiment the C2 phone. The box is untouched, not even opened. Given my order for the 2026 Jolla Phone, I’d like to sell it for a sort of symbolic price to a fellow Sailfish fan. Maybe someone will have a better Christmas with a new and out of the ordinary piece of technology like Jolla C2.
Bottom line, the price is 100 Euro and shipping costs - to cover my preorder, sort of like a trade I can ship mostly anywhere and I would be happy to can send photos, of course, or any necessary details. And it would be great to send me back the unboxing or the first impressions - after all, this is community is all about.
We discussed with Tudor and so far everything looks fine.
What I realized now though is that I probably saw his message immediately when posted, while at first I thought that no one cared about the device.
This just doesn’t feel right to me. So if anyone really wants/needs the device to actually use it daily but full price is out of his budget or anything, I would be happy to step back and let them get it.
I want the device as well to join my Jolla collection, but if this can be someone’s long awaited Christmas present, I would be happy knowing that someone from the community got the chance he was waiting for to get the device

Oh well then i have a friend with a very tiny budget, who is hoping to get a Sailfish phone as a first device for her daughter… I think a C2 for this price would make her quite happy. I’ll tip her to join the forum and write to you.
That is very generous. I have as well a more or less unused (as good as new). I installed some apps and updated it to the newest SF version, but never used it. So if you want to have this instead, just raise your hand.
No, the phone is completely untouched and the box sealed, never got the chance to see it - for it’s a ritual, I need time to see it, configure it, test new apps etc and just didn’t find the time.
So, if you thing that you can help your friend configure it as a daily driver - probably needs a bit of tinkering - sure, we can close the deal.
So i asked my friend, but she told me she has no 100eur budget right now, after chrismas shopping for the kids already done, could take her maybe 6 month to have that money available again for a phone gift to her daughter… And she doesnt want me to offer to pay for her either.
So I guess if @Fellfrosch or @Tudor wish to make a christmas sfos gift for a single mother of 3 you can, but otherways i guess other people can step in to buy.
Well, then I think @Kanthal and @Tudor can make their deal. I will keep my device a bit and maybe wait if there will be a chance to donate it to a Sailfish developer or a friend.
Allow me to throw in a short offtopic to express how impressed I am by the kindness, politeness and helpfulness of folks who are part of this community.
Just looking at the recent history, this topic as well as Anyone has a spare Xperia phone? and HELP i don't understand this Jolla C2 with a slightly difficult customer draws such a great picture that hugely overshadows the occasional polemics and rants. I believe that shouldn’t just go unnoticed or taken for granted.
And this, together with the recent good news about the Jolla2 in which i belive that @jolla acted recommendably in listening to the community and was rightfully rewarded with a great response in the preorder campaign gives me confidence for a rosy future for this project.
Way to go, Jolla and sailors, you rock!

Just so that everyone is aware, I cannot and will not meld with other peoples business since we are not talking about my devices here, I am just trying to find a good deal myself as well!
I will gladly move with either Tudors or Fellfrosch offer and i really don’t mind waiting any amount of time.
I just wanted to make sure that everyone that might need one gets a chance and it should be definitely much more prio than me getting one.
That being said, I cannot inconvenience the seller as well so if I’m requested to close the deal I will do so on the spot.

Right, I would like to let everyone know that I’ve closed the deal with @Kanthal and the phone is on its way already - so I hope we will all benefit from a fine review of a brand new C2 as soon as its new owner will be able to find the time to enjoy his new toy
Meanwhile, I’ve remembered that I also have a Sony i4113 Phone with Sailfish bought officially that I am not using anymore. Don’t have the charger or any cables, but these accessories are easy to find. And the phone can also run Android (I think, not sure if can be reverted to the original OS) so I think it would make a great present for your friend, @yusssufff - but you’ll have to cover the shipping costs.
I am currently updating the phone to Sailfish Tampella 5.0.0.72 and post some photos when it’s done.
Sooo latest news my friend actually is getting now already a C2 from a common friend who ordered a J2… So no need on her side anymore… things move fast these days … But anyhow thank you for your kindness @Tudor !
