What actually is Aurora OS and who is using it?

Those pesky Russians are moving fast forward on so many fronts - phones, tablets, laptops, cars, trains, planes, submarines, rockets… Soon Aurora OS will be everywhere, from the bottom of the ocean to the far depths of Kosmos! Unbelievable!!!

Hopefully Jolli Boiz will be able to finally produce a working phone and start catching up!

The wallpaper on that laptop somehow looks familiar.

Never mind ‘catch up’, I’d be happy to settle for stealing it back.

How you can claim Timosh’s posting of current Aurora OS screenshots are not relevant to a thread entitled “What actually is Aurora OS and who is using it?” is beyond me. Also to suggest it is ‘propaganda’ is disinformation. Aurora OS exists in our reality therefore it is fact, whether you like it or not is irrelevant.

You don’t work for the BBC do you?…. as this is the kind of remark we have come to expect from them regarding all things Russian. Particularly so when they can’t find any other kind of ‘evil spin’ to put on it.

The post in question was indeed Russian propaganda but has apparently now been removed.

If the post you are referring to has already been removed then I guess we will all just have to take your word for it, but I’m not a big fan of censorship either. I like to think most all the users that frequent this forum have the intelligence to come to their own conclusions on such matters.

I confirm what unmaintained wrote as I removed the problematic post, but I didn’t remove all @unmaintained answers.

Yeah, the russian propaganda is the most worst. The others are good?

I just wanted to clear up the confusion, because some posts were deleted while replies to them remained.
I have not made any comments about propaganda being good or bad.

That said, if someone is not capable of discerning good from evil, we probably do not have much to discuss.

Then just say, propaganda. Without russian or US or UK vor what ever

Sorry, am I really expected to censor facts in my post because they might hurt some imperialist’s feelings?

The post I was responding to mentioned Russia by name, so I wrote Russian. If it had said American propaganda, I would have written American. There is no point in hiding facts.

But this is really getting off topic now.

Maybe… if you had left it up, we could all have come to our own conclusions but a forum that promotes and executes censorship in any shape or form is no place for me. I don’t need this condescending BS that treats us as though we are children.

So I’m out!

The post which was deleted was only connect to the Russian attack of the Ukraine and was not reflected to topic. So it was off-topic anyway beside the Russian narratives in that post.

I would say, in this case just delete because oft “offtopic”.. It is already too mich political SH..t around.

Hi, anyone knows if there is information on the RCS messaging support in AuroraOS with devices it runs on? I guess RCS is available in russian mobile network providers too as GSMA standard. I’m trying to find any non-google based RCS client implementation. Maybe something can be pulled off for mobile linux (sfos or postmarketos). Thanks!

Having read the ‘offending’ post, (Pherjung emailed it to me off list), I can only agree with Demonia in that it was off-topic and should have been dealt with accordingly. It could only be regarded as propaganda when there is no evidence offered with which to support the claims made. If you still doubt the OP’s claims then I can only refer you to the events that occured in Caracas last night. A clear case of double standards on the part of the west that cannot be ignored nor denied.

Therefore ‘propaganda’ it is not… but ‘off topic’ it most certainly is.

I like how folders show you the apps that are in them, instead of just a colored folder with a number on it.

6 posts were split to a new topic: Install Laucher Combined Patch (fork)

Probably just the same code. Didn’t he work for omp back then?
