I don’t know if I can reach recovery mode, but I will give it a try. How do I use ADB to pull data?
it probbaly depends on if you encrypted your home partition. If you didnt, you can just mount it and use “adb pull” to fetch the files over. If you did encrypt, you might have to pull over the full block device, then decrypt it on your host pc

I think the problem has solved itself…
I tried to get into recovery and managed that. But as obviously not only the display is broken, but there are as well further things which disolved itself, my screen flickerd and I could see how format data was activated while I was in recovery mode. So I have to give up my data. It’s not a big problem. The only really important data is my Adressbook which haven’t altered that much since December 2023.
And of course my pictures. But the pictures were synced daily to my nextcloud.
So yes some data vanished, but nothing really important.
By the way, I had never a chance to choose not to decrypt my data.

I tried a few times to sync my contacs via cardDAV. But for some reasons that caused more problems than it helped. But yes I will now include the adressbook now in my sync.
@piggz what is the current version available for the Volla 22? Still 4.5, or? On the X23 it’s also 4.5 with extras?
did you recieve a volla x23 for testing?

yes but i tried to install sailfish os on mine and i think it had too new volla os on it, so it didn’t boot and he said he will request a device for testing and i think they accepted, but i don’t know what happened afterwards. maybe i should try to flash his newest release?
Have you tried contacting him on irc? The #sailfishos channel on OFTC? It’s faster than checking here …

Hi all, I have an extra rephone (very good condition + original box) with VollaOS 13 installed, the bootloader was successfully relocked and multiboot works flawlessly in this version (unfortunately only utouch is available). I no longer use it and is sitting on my desktop, if anyone is interested please PM me with an offer (EU shipping only).
NOTE: I have a full backup (1.6GB) of the original A11 stock partitions if needed.
