How did the upgrade go?
I had no issues during the upgrade process
I had small issues, but was able to handle them
I got into serious trouble when upgrading my device (please help!)
Greetings to everyone. After updating version, my camera doesn’t work as expected. Well it’s rolling when taping on the red button but no video has been recorded on my C2. I couldn’t find any evidence of it in any folder. Please could you tell me what I should do? Or did I do something wrong? Thx.
Sometimes the Tracker3-Media-Indexer takes some time to retrigger, so your Video or Image is there but you can’t see it in the Gallery or just a grey placeholder unless Tracker3 had created the Preview-Icon.
@fingus indeed Tracker3 file contains the videos I took since i downloaded the version (I didn’t know that). So , now what do you recomand to do it right?
Many thanks for this release during Summer Holidays, to make work the video recording on C2: very much appreciated Hope always faster and faster: Sailors Row !
ps: to be checked if this release fixes also the random sim data connection with Android apps.
As you suugest I used Sailfish Utilities to restat database; I also have some audios missing. Then I run command tracker3 reset -s. But that did nothing different. As you said again, then I will wait for next triggering (maybe in version 5.1?).
Tracker3 is triggered by event handling, such as creating new file(s) inside a tracked directory. This could include audio, video, or document files. I’m not sure if there is a timer-based triggering at set intervals. There could be many reasons why you don’t see files in the Gallery or File Manager. Some possible issues include incompatible file formats, problems with file permissions, or a poorly configured Tracker3 setup. Normally, you shouldn’t need to touch or alter the configuration.
A reboot may fix your problem if you haven’t already done so.
After resetting Tracker3 via the command line or rebooting, it takes some time until it is ready with the indexing, so patience is required.
Typically, you would use the Sailfish Utilities or the command line.
Yeah. The mobile data bug for AAS is still there. I also have the problem after rebooting the decryption sometimes fails and is stuck in a cycle. I need to really shut the phone down and wait for some time before I reboot. Also touch is sometimes not working after reboot. Its super snnoying because I do not see a pattern and how to avoid it. Sometimes I need to reboot up to three or more times until the decryption actually work.
Camera video works fine now. Yey!
