Major inconvenience here on my Xperia 10III. After updating I’m no longer able to have phone calls (neither incoming nor outgoing), resulting in the phone app crashing. Network appears to be okay. Unfortunately I can’t tell if it happened after .61 or .62. What’s the best way to troubleshoot this?

Flashed fresh copy of .61 on my Xperia 10 II, updated to .62. During phone calls person on the other side hears themselves (echo). I specifically bought 10 II to AVOID echo issues that were always present on 10 III - and now I have the same issue on 10 II… Anyone else experienced this? It’s so bad that person on the other side hangs up and calls me on my other phone.

WLAN hotspot still not working!
I can connect my laptop to the hotspot but I can’t actually browse the internet - this has been broken for me for several years now.
(Tried several laptops)

No issues with the update or usage so far (Xperia 10 II). 5.0.0.x seems much smoother overall than 4.6 in general.
SFOS 5.0.0 wireguard implementation was especially a welcome addition, and while I managed to get it working, I noticed a flaw in the implementation: connecting by using a DNS name doesn’t work for connecting. I’d like to use wireguard to connect to my home network, which is behind a dynamic IP address, hence the need for DNS name.

I filled a bug report for the DNS name issue in Wireguard Wireguard cannot handle dns server names, no response from Jolla so far.

I have same issue and only know to delete data and register again as you already said. Very annoying. Keeps failing after entering pin code with unknown error please try again later.

WiFI Hotspot with mobile data works great for me. Always. I started with Xperia X, Xperia XA2, Xperia X 10 and now C2.

WiFI Hotspot with Wifi data is not implemented AFAIK. Same with WiFi 7 and WPA3.

So you should tell more about your setup if you want help.

Upgrade went smoothly on Xperia 10 II and Jolla C2.

Same here. Update went well. Everything works as expected. Only routing all traffic through WireGuard does not work.

Anyone else having problems on webpages that are using a web form to specify a date? Seems a general issue: no keyboard is shown. Hence, the date/values cannot be changed.

I made a bug report: Date forms in browser cannot be changed

Device: Xperia 10 - Dual SIM
fresh flashed with 5.0.0.62
Phone has no SIM card, so phone calls and SMS not yet tested.

35 apps are installed, including phone + SMS app + 6 Android apps.

Everything works like a charm - thank you Jolla! - except 2 apps: LLs vPlayer and AllRadio.

LLs vPlayer and AllRadio both don’t start but show a white screen. It’s possible to horizontal swipe and terminate the app by GUI / App Grid. After terminating system works fine again. But these 2 apps don’t work.

Fibonacci installed from Chum also doesn’t start but installed from Storeman it does start and works fine.

edit: This is for LLs vPlayer: @harrin2013 wrote: In my C2 white screen was because it is missing that mpris-qt5-qml-plugin.
Installed that with @wetab73 instructions in Internet Radio app for Sailfish OS.

devel-su pkcon install mpris-qt5-qml-plugin

For me this was enough to get AllRadio on-the-air again…

edit: By guessing, I found also the solution for AllRadio:
adding

[X-Sailjail]
Sandboxing=Disabled

at the end of /usr/share/applications/harbour-allradio.desktop fixed it. Station list is now loading for all countries.

I noticed that AllRadio is quite slow on my 10III but it works. Switching stations takes a few seconds. Maybe the 10 runs into some sort of time out?

Memory and CPU usage of AllRadio seems normal.

Same happened to me. Made clean flash and thought it was fixed but no. Two calls and then dead. When trying to call the phone it gives busy signal and the phoe says no network when you try to call.

Have you tried Mobile Pay with microG?

Yes, as mentioned in my initial post, my setup was:
MobilePay ver: 8.8.0 (in DK)
SFOS: 5.0.0.62 (same problem on 5.0.0.61)
MicroG version: 0.3.6.xxx (also tried older versions, same problem)

I have tried other versions of MicroG and other versions of MobilePay with same result. I have also seen the problem on XA2 and C2. User mf1910 has reported the same problem.

Did you find a solution yet?

AFAIK VoLTE still isn’t mandatory OS-wise after the update - or is it? Calls were working flawless before v5.0.0.x via 2G.

Not sure whats going on with MobilePay, today I can log in, make payments, receive payments requests without problems. Maybe the problem I and others had was some how related to a temporary problem at the MobilePay server?
Today I have tested quite a lot and had no problems with connecting and logging in on my 10iii. I will continue to test over the next days to check if the problem comes back.

MobilePay and Nordnet apps can still not focus the back(main) camera to scan QR codes, but they can focus and scan using the front(selfie) camera.
