Sony Xperia 10 V still needed to reboot a couple of times for the SIM to be detected and the flight mode is stuck in the top bar even if off in the settings.

Oh, i did same - updated from 4.6.0.13 to 5.0.0.55 via terminal. In Xperia XA2.
But no any mistakes was during process. And it loaded and works for 1 day already good.
Please calm me, and relax - is it critical? What i can do, what checks to do to realax that all is good in my OS now?
There are some little bugs:
some photos on some contacts dissapeared,
Storeman dissapeared, but i installed it back,
no home page and Search in Browser now,
imap mail status is “Updating” infinitely, but updating, new mail comes,
auto Call recording starts right after press button to call, not when call really starts
- are this bugs are same on XA2 too?
@jovirkku I think there might be a bug in the GUI updater then. I just powered up my old XA2 (Standard, not Plus) which hasn’t been updated for a while since I don’t use it any more. This is currently on 4.6.0.11. But after going into Sailfish OS Updates in settings and checking for upgrades I was offered 5.0.0.55. Based on your post I should have been offered the next stop release (which I think was 4.6.0.13?).

I will never not care about Whisperfish issues. Sometimes I just don’t have time to fix some, sadly 
But usually, WF not starting is a simple one to find. Strange that you had to reenter the password; sounds like something odd changed regarding paths.

Found the instructions on what needs to be cleared for upgrading, from the .mozilla location. I’m sure I’d done that, but re-doing it helped!
The webview in the forum app seems wonky but I’ll get to that later maybe.

@jovirkku this is the same situation that I had. I was on 4.6.0.13 and no offer in the GUI to update to 4.6.0.15!
5.0.0.55 version works much faster than 4.6.0.15 on Sony 10 III.
Puremaps doesnt work though.
I need to use apps like Melcloud and Smart-life-smarthome and those two works just like they should but Midea app MS-SmartHome does not work and I dont know what the problem might be, the app just doesnt start up and that is a little problematic. MS-smarthome used to work but stopped last summer after update.
For me, PureMaps works with 5.0.0.55
Update on Xperia 1o III went fine without any error during the update process.
After the update I’m not able to dial any telephone number.
In log I found:

Sony Xperia 10III - After deactivating 2nd SIM card the mobile connection is dead. It is required to make a reboot or switching the flight mode on and off.
For now the only official way is via reflashing. That erases all user data. I’m not sure if any such procedure is safe without a backup.
To me it’s a bit contradictory to not have a regular and tested backup method and be on Early access.
Is your Xperia 10 III working? I wether can send SMS nor make a call. Mobile network is fine in O2-de
Edit: Sorry, was a mistake. I can make calls, but sending SMS is not possible.
It is still meecast, but somehow the Meecast daemon is not working anymore. Deinstall in this order Meecast Evemtview, daemon and last the app, do a reboot, install everything in reverse order and should work. If not a reboot will for sure bring back the weather in the event view.

Thank you, this fixed it. I had some installing problems with the Storeman version of eventview (of 14.12.2024), but doing pkcon install harbour-meecast-eventview from the Terminal did the trick.

I have Xperia 10 III, upgrade worked without any issues.
Everything seems to work fine, but SMS. I cannot send SMS, it always fail to send.
