Has there been any info/news about USB-C video out? (on the HW side)

Have used XA2 as daily driver for ~5 years if I can recall properly and before that I used the J1 as daily driver as well. I moved to C2 for a ~year now. Never owned any other smartphone / OS so cant really compare. Did I have issues? Yes. Some I could manage to live with (most of them), others no (espacially calls issues). But things got fixed at some point. Point is that ⦠I dont have any
just wanted to share my experience.
So you are telling me that my GPS locks 10 times faster on 10 III compared to XA2 (both sfos) where the argument was about, has something to do with all of the above?
Yes.
Does this phone allow to have android apps on multiple user accounts? (User accounts are for needed compartmentalisation of one personās phone use NOT multiple people sharing a device)
I donāt understand the obsession about the goddamn notch.
This phone is the best looking phone Jolla has ever shown so far, but all people see is the goddman notch.
It is the same bezel as the bottom one, but it has two extra horns of usable pixels on each side.
There, itās not a notch, but two horns. Happy?
Jesus Christ!..
Also you can disable them in software.
Both notch and punch hole designs look ugly to me TBH.
That phone is a hammerhead. ![]()
Weird, itās almost 7 years i have my xa2 as a daily driver and i donāt have any problem with itā¦
Ditto, I use a 10 III as dd, but have my old XA2 with another SIM and it works great.
Right now 9536 preorders have been made.
I donāt want to be negative, but I doubt that we reach 10.000 preorders before the end of February.
Does that change anything?
No. TOH is included no matter the ammount. They will most likely order 10K phones. Some might buy later or need another/second device etc.
I would guess that quite many people could potentially order Jolla phone after the initial batches are delivered, if the reviews made are positive. So letās hope sailors have enough time to fine-tune the experience as much as possible ![]()
Reviews dont matter at this point. The SW is problematic and iādont think this can change until the release.
The phone is not ready for the average joe. Not even for the geeks more or less.
I disagree that the OS isnāt mature enough for average Joe. I think it definitely is and with AAS transition is quite painless. Quite many people are ready to accept some level of friction with usage. Biggest thing is weather your apps work or donāt, quite many people want mobile banking for example. But here there is only that much Jolla can do
You cant even get word suggestion whan typing on many languages and you call that ready?
There is presage, right? And quite a few people have shared the files needed for XT9. And nothing is stopping of developing that before the launch. Not so big concern imo. I think it is mature enough, can software ever be fully ready?
