@raphman @Simom At this point call rejection and sms send/recv works fine for both me and @fsan06 so if you want your issue fixed you would have to join telegram and help me debug, because i cannot fix it otherwise if i can’t even verify if my changes are doing anything

Actually hold on @raphman you didn’t have issue with send/recv sms only call rejection, could you zypper ref; zypper dup and report if it’s been fixed for you too?

Wifi turning off when display was suspended WAS an issue on the vollaphones and gigaset phones till recently, too. I’m not sure what changed, but I don’t lose ssh sessions with 5.0.xx … @piggz any idea?

I just wanted to say that I recently started using Miami as a daily driver, and everything is working as intended for me. The device registered on VoLTE immediately. I have no issues with call rejection, rejecting with SMS, sending, and receiving SMS. I’m on the Yettel network in Serbia.
The camera is working normally, Microtube, Yotti, etc.
Adam and Kari helped me debug Angelfish, and now, I have everything I need. Well, everything except Quasar MX player, but it looks like the developer’s website is unavailable, and I didn’t save any copies of the app.
Also, I can’t use Quickddit anymore (too bad, because the app kicks arse), but it will hopefully be updated in the future.

Call rejection works great now - but now the headset speaker at the top end stays silent. I cannot hear the ringback tone or the anything the other call participant says. However, when I activate the speakerphone mode, I can hear both ringback tone and the other participant via the loudspeaker at the bottom end. The loudspeaker at the top end stays silent all the time (but works fine when playing music).
I believe that worked correctly when I first tested it. Strange.
Yeah no, nothing I’ve done would change it, maybe it’s hardware failure I don’t know

Here is my update on the Motorola Edge 30 Neo, which includes some important changes. SMS is now working, and I can send and receive messages with no issues. Rejecting a call is now fixed, and it registers VoLTE really fast with T-Mobile USA. I’ve been using this device daily and couldn’t be happier — all the apps I’ve tested work flawlessly. Thanks again for the hard work!!

Spontaneously one guy that I can’t ping because he doesn’t have account here, told me to buy edge 30 neo cause they’re selling it dirt cheap and it has chances for volte, has 5G and is the most compact device (from the devices from sane vendors) so randomly i searched, found one in my city and bought it all within span of one hour lol.
What was your acquisition price?
Wondering if 70 € is a good offer in my city, or I should press for lower.
I randomly pulled edge 30 neo in my city literally brand new shape because owner was using every protection ever for 300 polish pesos which is equivalent to 70€ so i’d say you’re spot on

Might matter for pricing, but screenshot showed 8 GB, so I pulled the trigger and will be joining your miami herd in a few days.
AAS / Waydroid is my biggest interest.

For some reason, Wifi usually stays active now when the screen turns off. Maybe @Mister_Magister has changed something in an update or packages that I installed later had that effect. Maybe it’s also an issue with my Wifi router. I tried unsuccessfully to reproduce the problem.

no I’ve not. It’s just how wifi behaves in suspend, i didn’t touch it and i’m not going to touch it y’all just gonna have to accept very nice battery life in suspend

Initial observations
- more round corners device SFOS needs some adjustment work
- pre-installed apps can’t be uninstalled?
- WiFi can’t connect to WPA3-transitional, since I updated config for 5.1
- 10h unconnected WiFi enabled device slept battery use at 4%

what do you mean? I’ve put in round corners config.
sure they can but it would make my heart sad (I’ve put them as Recommended, not required so you shouldn’t have an issue uninstalling them)
well sfos doesn’t support wpa3 so…
