Browser, now we are talking about a reasonable arguments. I lack experience and expertise on that matter but it appears to be one of the central weaknesses that should be a priority to fix. But are there foundational complications that make it so hard to catch up to supported Gecko engines or is it simply the lack of resources?
Probably the main problem with lack of progress is nobody’s on it as their only priority. I bet the people that know enough to get it done are spread thin between multiple targets.
This is a thread for gecko ESR102 development. Currently the development is not yet completely public, only the known changes for embedlite-components and sailfish-browser have been pushed to github, to sailfishos-esr102 branches. The gecko-dev repo changes still need a bit of cleanup before I will push them to github.
