You had the option (if there was any left) when doing the final payment to include the ticket also for the event.

About the accessories and in special the tpu cases: For the C2 the layout of the hole for the type-c port was to small for most pc compatible standard usb-c cables. Some small cables worked well, but most of my cables did not. I often had to remove the case to plug a charger.
Please test some more cables with the tpu cases for the Jolla Phone. Thanks

C2 case is hot garbage from every single perspective, but I assume that is Reeder trying to make a cheap case.
We have to see the cases first, but since these ones have nothing to do with pre existing cheap phones, I don’t see any reason to be worried.

Oh that’s a shame, I guess I was too late. Hopefully more are released it’d be really cool to add this event to my visit to Finland this summer.

Yeah, C2 case needed three fixes.
USB-C and 3,5 jack wider opening + clear case flash area trim to avoid picture artifacts.

Hello. I made my final payment yesterday and I was lucky enough to have a ticket as they said in email that they had 300 additional tickets due to high interest. So excited, can’t wait! Batch 3 10k.

I do not think that they have sent them yet. I am also with a number close to that and haven’t heard anything back yet. I also know of another person in the same situation. I just hope that they will send it in time to meet the april deadline or that they extend it for the people to which the email has arrived late.

I ordered 2 phones and got 2 order numbers but on both I got the same key for the pre payment. Please send me one other so I can finish my second order. Thank you.
You shouldn’t worry too much. April 30 is just an arbitrary deadline that Jolla set for themselves. If they’re unable to meet it, they won’t simply stop everything and move on. It’s in their best interest to fulfill all pre-orders.

You forgot how impossible is to click the power button, the pointless round hole at the bottom, and the awful quality that you can feel and also see in every single edge/cutout.
This case should be a reference to what kind of quality a cheap case gets you.

I received the mail (batch 3, mid-9K) and the deadline was already advertised as 9th of May so I would not worry about that, the mail will arrive with a reasonable time frame to finalize.

I got my email yesterday. It starts with something like “12K pre orders". I paid mine immediately, hoping that we will make 12K orders.
While the big players may laugh at 12K, this could be a start. The sometimes cumbersome payment process that I read about in these threads should not keep us from believing in the goal. I’m trusting in Jolla’s good faith to deal with these correctly in due time.
I’m feeling in “investor mode”. Not financially speaking, the sums are not that huge after all, but supporting an European alternative. The phone will not be that important, Sailfish OS will be the crucial element.
I’m a long term Linux USER, Windows to Mac to Linux years ago. If this community, which I presume to be a tech savvy group, is able and willing not to complain too much, but bring Sailfish OS forward to become usable to common mortals, than we have achieved something.
Jolla, you are not alone! Remember this when you reach the size of… well you know what I mean
