Hi there,
Time for a Jolla Phone update - the train is accelerating to high speed, hold on to your hat!
Final payments
As communicated throughout the journey of the new Jolla Phone, we will start collecting final payments by end of March. The process has now started and the first customers from Batch #1 have received their payment instructions by now - first come, first serve basis - and we will roll out the payment links for all three first pre-order batches (i.e. Batch #1, #2 and #3, first 10 000 customers) during a ~week. Stay tuned in your inbox and check the instructions.
Meanwhile, here is an outline of the process:
- Payments by April 30, 2026. Your Batch stays locked and your delivery is confirmed for July - August. The first 500 from Batch #1 to complete payment in 7 days can also claim a ticket to exclusive Jolla Phone Day1 delivery celebration event (July 8 in Helsinki)
- Defer until August 31, 2026. Your right, fully respected. Delivery is then September – October 2026. Note, however, that your default memory configuration will shift to 8/128GB, though an upgrade option will be made available
- Cancel any time. Full refund, no questions asked, no hard feelings and always welcome back

Memory component prices and availability have been exceptionally volatile over the past quarters and the forecasts remain such for the whole 2026. This is precisely why we structured our pre-orders in limited batches with locked prices, so we could plan component procurement and honour the price we committed to you. To keep it so, we need your full payment confirmed by April 30, 2026. Thus, this is the moment to act.
Also, to be clear: all the batches #1, #2 and #3 are with the same specification. All come with 12/256 GB memory configuration.
Jolla Phone Day1 celebration event (July 8, Helsinki)
Okay, we admit it is not formally end of June but close enough, right?
The first 500 from Batch #1 to complete their Jolla Phone purchase can claim for 7 days an exclusive event ticket to join us in Helsinki and pick their Jolla Phone in person!
The very first devices will be delivered in the event and the order fulfillment + shipping will start after the event. After 7 days we will continue to offer the tickets for Batch #2 and then further to Batch #3.
Come celebrate your new Jolla Phone, meet the team and spend a few hours with others who made the same independent choice. Kindly note that we have a limited event capacity, so if you claim a ticket please honor your reservation. In case you can’t make it to the event, please let us know so we can allocate your ticket for people in the queue!

FAQ - does my banking app work? Etc.
Many of our new customers have asked, or are wondering, whether some critical application for my daily life actually works with Sailfish OS and in the new Jolla Phone respectively.
The community is making great efforts documenting and nailing down these, and e.g. for those dear banking apps there is a great community wiki.
If you have any particular app in mind, just ask in the forum - there will be somebody to help you for sure! This is a common journey and we need to help each others to make it thru and fly - for a better future, less dependant on Big Tech proprietary in-app service hooks.
Let’s keep it coming and hack on!
