The September 2026 batch has 8GB and upgradable to 12GB with 50eur.

So, the J2 Septembre batch, right? Which batch number is that, do you know?
That falls within expectations then since they said 599-699 as normal price.
It’s just weird to see the upgrade option now without any context.

Well, Jolla seems to call it just “Sep 2026 batch” if I read correctly.
I have the Sep 2026 batch on a new page. It’s not the same page than the pre-order page was.
I find it actually quite logical.
And the shop front page should now lead only to Sep batch I think…

The September batch page has also updated technical specs when compared to the pre-order page, like mentioning the Mediatek Dimensity 7100 SoC and the lower memory with upgrade option
So, everyone in batch 3 that was running until today should still get the 12 GB for 579 EUR, right?

Yes, that is correct! Everybody in pre-order campaign gets 12GB.

The pre-order page still mentions only 12GB and it was like that at the time people pre-ordered, so it kinda “binding contract”.
Edit: Jolla also reserverd rights for only small changes in the specs: “Minor alterations may apply.”

I can’t say I am shocked about the final price for the pre-order configuration (12GB) landing at the upper end of the previously previewed final price. The memory supply situation is probably a tough challenge currently.
EDIT: To be honest, I find the choice for 8GB, for 50 EUR less, reasonable. Given that the Fairphone with an overall slightly stronger SOC also comes with 8GB. Don’t take me wrong, I gladly take the 12GB on my pre-order phone but I think with 8GB the hardware mix still looks balanced.

thats quite interesting: Jolla says 'september batch`, not ‘we plan to deliver in september’, so everything must work like planned or even better.
Either your screenshot was made prior to @Jolla changing the site.
Or, if you know the right link, it is still possible to “pre-oder” to a reasonable price?

I don’t think the “missing 165” are still available for the pre-order price. It is now the regular price.

No the pre-order closed on 28.02.2026 23.55 Finnish time and now they are only selling the phone at full price.

The downloadable invoice did not contain my company name and VAT number, even though they were added earlier to the billing address.
I sent an e-mail to shop@jolla.com about this. Is that enough, or should I make contact on a different address?
