Not yet available, let’s see how it evolves. User creatable custom functionalities would be nice indeed. Other question then of course would be that how user creates them.

I would say, as someone else suggested, please make the logo of the inari blue cover illuminate only when a notification arrives (or anyway any event that would trigger the led)

This AAS system service Fused Location is keeping my Location icon constantly ON. I assume draining battery, too, or..? What’s up, anybody here know?
Almost no Android apps installed yet, and Location panel report confirmed no apps are involved.

That would be super neat! For example I don’t need the privacy features so much, but would love to use the switch to control flashlight. No idea how user can make the configuration, but it would be cool

The wireless charger is right between the shortwave receiver and the 6.3 mm headphone jack. But there is no screen.

The main camera lens also has a red tint on everything afaict. Video is meh atm sadly

My experience has, so far, been very positive with the new Jolla phone and it has already replaced the Xperia 10 III as my daily driver. The Jolla phone feels faster than the Xperia overall. Especially loading times are shorter across the board. In short, it just works.
I haven’t yet encountered significant bugs and the Xperia-specific issues are obviously gone (like poor camera functionality). One thing that needs some tweaking is the maximum screen bightness in power saving mode, which is way too low, to the point that content on the screen is almost impossible to see in daylight (maybe this can be considered a bug).

I know what you said, I was just genuinely curious, like whether it really cuts it off or not. I don’t know, for example, when the microphone is disabled and you try to send a voice message through an app like WhatsApp, does it pick up the sound or not?
I think so too, but in the coming years, a lot of brands are now thinking about not including a cable in the box anymore

Very quick pros vs cons after a few hours of use - comparing to C2:
Pros:
0. I was surprised that as soon as I started first time and had Wi-Fi connection, an update notification came which I did update the new Jolla to version 5.2.0.13
- Starting and setting things up is a lot easier (I think even my mother could do this)
- It’s a product and it feels like a solid modern phone unlike C2, reminds me of the solid quality of the first Jolla but updated to modern times
- Camera quality is amazing
- Sounds is better than I thought
- Runs Android 15 subsystem
- Predictive text input out of the box unlike C2
- Battery lasts very loooong (still I bought a spare battery and camera lena package from Jolla booth)

-Just the screen dimming could need some software update (I solved the issue others noted by not using the automated brightness adjustments for now…).
…well, I couldn’t test everything in this short time but I’m impressed by the quality and I think I will have a had time to change back to any other than the blinking OH - really like that one. We were thinking that it would drain the battery unnecessary but I think it doesn’t. Also when looking at the controller, it seems to first evaluation, that it might be freely programmable. I would assume it would be nice with an RGB led to have the notifications on the backside in the Jolla logo.
I will report more if I find more pros and cons.

The sound is also important to me. I checked ringtones. Sound is definitely better than that of C2. It is clear and loud enough. Yet nothing can beat the rich sound of Sony XA2+ !
