Have you also a litte red cast on the (good) screen? Or is the C2 screen only to grey?

Would be awesome yes. And stabilizer!

LUTs are lovely when you have a well-balanced image. But until it is balanced, and until you have an image that is in the right color soace for the LUT, etc, a LUT gives wildly unpredictable results.

There are some steps in the image pipeline that are a bit LUT-like though, I bet. Like when the raw data is first interpreted as color data.

You can add numbers to block in the Phone settings page in Settings>Apps>Phone.

And so you can on SFOS, exactly the same way. Open seleced contact’s card, long tap on a number , select ‘Block number’ from the pull down menu.

Day 5: air bubbles are forming under stock screen protector. There were a lot more, I finger-pressed them outwards 1h ago, but I have a feeling they’ll return soon. What’s the remedy @jolla?

PS there was also one bubble at top-right edge right out of the box in Hki.

EDIT this is NOT about screen protector add-on product, but factory pre-applied plastic film.

EDIT yes, factory top-tabbed removable screen protector was obviously removed, evidenced by no pull tab at the top. Problem is the true on-screen layer.

Did you remove the pre applied plastic screen protector?

My experiences:

1 between native and android there seems fingerprint to unlock is not supported (opeing password mansgers is hard)

2 when authicating native apps via web (like tooter does with mastodon my password manager is not able to do fido / u2f

3 banking app (android) tells me bootloader is not locked (hmmm?)… Refuses to start

4 austrian app (government) refuses to start see point 3

5 many apps want me to screenlock protect (microg?) but after setting pin i am in endless loop

6 sometimes apps dont start

7 charging seems to be slow?

Love the phone but still need some imorovement

If you are going to judge SFOS on how like Android it is, you are going to have a bad time.

Photo should show no pulley tab, so yes box protector was removed already on opening day, but updated original post.

I think it’s a matter of time for someone else’s, too.

On 3: most likely that is play protect or play integrity, which will fail on any non-google-authorised ROM.

So probably you did apply the glass above the existing plastic film.
There is one below the one with the pull tab from what we heard.

You mean I should not use apps with „android app support“?

Or what is your message?

Customer-service kind of answer is that your screen was not properly cleaned before placing the cover (using the alcohol towel). We’ll see with other people.

I mean that you should understand that it is AppSupport in a container, and not full-on Android all the way down.
Deep OS integration will be lacking, and on top of that of course expect anything that is normal for non-Google Android.

Edit: so don’t count on that being “solved” across the board. That’s not to say improvements will never happen.

Ahh looks like I had to open the contact card first, then long press the number, and then select block number. I tried long pressing the name of the contact in the list of contacts, and it was only giving me options to call, send message or delete the contact.

I haven’t applied anything, this is not about screen protector add-on, but a direct factory process problem.

Cleaned.. in the factory, you mean?

I don’t know much about screen finish processes.

TBC this is not about screen protector add-on product.

The pre-applied one is just transport protection, is it not?
I.e. not intended for longterm use in any way.
