@Jollus Where do you get this impression from? Until now, I haven’t seen any hint directing to not handing the devices out.
TBH, we haven’t seen many hints about anything about the party. 
I am batch 3, and I was able to ‘buy’ the ticket when I paid the rest of my phone. I think I remember reading somewhere that this means I’m in.
Admittedly, the stakes are low. I’ve got my boat tickets from Stockholm and cheap living booked at an abnb. A getaway to Helsinki will be great no matter what, and the Jollafest will be the cherry on top. Or not.

I mean I got flight and hotel booked, so if the date doesn’t hold I can’t accomodate that. But the event is not the only reason to visit Helsinki so from that perspective I am fine as well.
Given that it is only one more month to the anounced date, some update or specifics on the event would be reassuring.
PS: I am also batch 3 with a ticket.

@bluitamaraty afaik, they will hand you the phone over, if you go to Helsinki and take part on the Event.
Otherwise, they will deliver it via postal service, if you let them know. At least that’s how i understand their Mail. …but correct me if i’m wrong here…

its just i do not want the 8 july ticket to be wasted on me , because i cannot make it to the event.
there must be others that love to go to the event.
I did sent a message to shop@jolla , so iam confident that someone else gets my ticket.

Earlier I asked whether anybody would be interested in a walk on finnish history and society in Helsinki close to J2 day.
Some people were interested but I’d like to raise the question again to see if there are more.
Also I would like to decide the day as there where preferences there. My original idea was to have it on the 7th to give an introduction to Finland and maybe some pieces of advice on arrival. I could also have it on the 9th if the 7th doesn’t work.

@rhampf Hi Robert, I will stay in Helsinki from July 6 to July 17, so I could participate on both dates.

Sounds great! Would prefer the 7th. I’m catching the boat back to Stockholm on the 9th, but it goes in the afternoon. Edit - evening, actually.

I never said they weren’t…. nothing else has been mentioned since they first said they would to reassure or confirm…. so “maybe things changed due to unforeseen circumstances” giving the present instability in the world… there is reality and expectations

I’d like to to participate if it’s ok. Although I’m local I’m also hugely interested in history and always wanting to know more.
Of course if there would not be enough places - then count me out and give place to somebody from abroad.
Otherwise I see this as a good occasion to connect with other sailors - I have to say I havent known any other SFOS user on my 11 year path with sailfish

I can only join on the 7th, on the 9th I’ll already have to catch my flight back. But if it’s on the 7th I an still interested.
Still happy to do 7th or 9th. We fly in on the 6th and leave on the 10th. Had one night in Helsinki back in Jan 1981 so look forward to the tour and seeing more.

I’m still waiting Jolla confirmation before booking a flight from France.

I’m contemplating having the history walk on the 7th of July. It would start at 2 PM in Suomenlinna.
On the 9th I could have another walk if there are interested. It might be a little different than the first one if there are people who want to take part in both walks.
