Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker

So you got the snow white? Has anyone else gotten theirs yet? I ordered it as an extra.

Here also, phone comes with black back and white plus blue comes in a seperate box inside the parcel. Its a bit of a surprise, because i like the black now more than the orange.

Same here, black is great. I’m keeping it on for now.

What can I say, I reported what I got. Maybe this info from the email help :person_shrugging:

Order #176xx #66xx

This is direct copy-paste from the email but with redacted two trailing digits.

Posti says that it is “waiting for the parcel”. It also reports that there are two tracking numbers (I didn’t order any accessories, just the phone). Both items are marked as 27 x 19 x 5 cm / 0.4kg

It’s not that I don’t believe you, I’m just confused haha. Maybe they did send out an enormous amount of phones yesterday? Anyway, judging by the other delivered phones in Finland, you should have it within 3-5 (working?)days

20 minutes ago I got my shipment confirmation. #469x/1776x

@pentti Thanks for the update on the tracker. Your package seems to do all sorts of weird stuff throughout it’s journey haha.

It is a bit of a conundrum in regards to the tracker though. Should I account for delayed shipping and add another column? That seems convoluted. Maybe we’ll just have to accept the tracker won’t be perfect and instead use averages to predict how long it will take from Finland to any individual country.

I just added the comment as context, to avoid scaring anyone that might be interested in the phone by the long shipping time. I’m an outlier, and not a good example for “how long shipping to Luxembourg” most properly will take for anyone else.

Oh you did? In that case you should use the other comment field! The one you used is for comments regarding the tracker itself, like feedback for me. It doesn’t show up in the exported data.

But it indeed is a good idea to add that as a comment so people know you’re an outlier indeed.

@JordyS Thanks. I don’t believe I will have the phone within 3-5 days because:

  1. The parcels are yet to be handed over to Posti (according to Posti)
  2. Typically Fridays in Finland are not a full-day business day and Jolla might not work full-time on Friday (and then 2 days weekend)
  3. I haven’t seen a shipping update and now is Thursday 18:06

My personal guesstimate is mid/late next week. But I will surely update the form as soon as I receive it.

Before I forget, thank you @JordyS for making, maintaining, and updating this community shipping tracking. Also thanks to everyone who have kindly provided their shipping information. Hopefully together we can shed some light on waiting times, and make others’ waiting easier.

I believe Jolla can later use this information as well to create a delivery estimator tool on their website for folks in batches > 1 based on the information collected in batch1. Jolla holds all the cards about the shipping information (addresses, timings, workload per day, …) except the exact delivery dates (which is collected in this community project), so creating such estimator should be relatively straightforward.

I wish Jolla was communicating better and providing progress updates once or twice a week in a scheduled fashion.

Jolla posted yesterday a picture showing they had processed over 1700 phones out of the 2400 units making up the first batch.

Maybe they plan to ship the rest of the batch at the same time? This is possible, if they continue to make about 50-60 phones per hour, they should be able to finish the entire first batch by tomorrow and still have time to get them to the post office without overtime.

I’ve seen the picture as well. If we zoom in, although the picture quality is not good, we can see that the number above the last bar is “29”, or at least that’s what I can guess from that pixelated part. If 29 is correct, and by comparing the barchart’s bar heights, one can deduce that they rarely surpass 29 phones per hour at least on 2026-07-29 (lack of detailed communications prevent us from having better estimats for other days). So that 50-60 phone per hour is about two time higher.

Also we, or at least I, don’t know what “processing” means in this context. Does it mean they updated the software, did QC, did packaging, and attached the shipping labels, or does it mean all the above plus delivering to a postal center. Alas, I take any information they give as a positive sign.

As a bonus, there are more info we can get from the picture is that":

  • Under the last bar the number is “21” and the picture is taken at 21:42:40. Assuming that the phone clock was correct, they got to 29 phones at 2/3rd of the 21st hour of that day.
  • We can also count the hours backwards and see they started working some time after 09:00 (perhaps closer to 10:00 considering the number of phone in from 09:00-10:00).

I know this is nit-picky and paying too much attention to details, but when Jolla rarely communicates the progress, we will spend more time on what we have at our disposal

Well, they have been shipping/creating tracking numbers a lot over the past two days. It’s kind of insane how many people have updated the their Community Shipping Tracker data today and yesterday. Total swing from the low amount of updates I had to process the previous 7 days or so.

Just checked on the Posti site and one of my three tracking numbers reports my phone is in transit! :articulated_lorry: :raising_hands:

The item (#45xx) was in sorting at 16.57, transit at 19.18, having received the email yesterday afternoon.

Agree, And are totaly transparent with al delays, Maybe thay fix the dust in camera problem. I think almost al costumers would absolut love that!

My shipment has been delivered, I don’t know how to mark it in the table.

You don’t, you edit the form and it will show up in the table/sheet when I update it. Let me know if you run into issues, in that case I’ll manually add it.

The dust in the camera is a production error and they have asked everyone with the problem to tell them what production run their phone was in (like date of shipment and colour ordered, etc) so that they can know how many phones have been affected.

Ok, row 16 in the table is equipped, my JP2 has been delivered to me
