Adding here as well as the information might be of use for someone.
My Jolla phone with Black TOH I received in the Day1 event doesn’t have any dust buildup.
It has been in my pocket every day since the event and there is quite a bit of dust on top of the speaker grille so I assume it would be already under the camera by now if it was to get there too.
My photos are also from 8.7.2026 between 14:42 and 14:59, for what it’s worth.

I have also noticed dust accumulating between front camera and screen glass, which was not there out of the box. However, I do rarely use the front camera and, at least for now, it doesn’t affect the image and video quality, so I am not aggravated by it at all.
Collected at the Day1 event, The Orange, default photos have a date 08.07.2026, with time ranging between 14:42 and 14:59.
I think that’s the time the flash image was created. The stock images on my device, which shipped much later, have the same metadata.

I like heard something on this case from @Jolla have they allready find solution how to fix allready sold phones and is this problem next batch too or is this just batch 1# orange phones
There are reports also on black phones.
