Is the community still interested in a 4:3 native tablet?

I also would love to see a Sailfish tablet. I had one of the original ones and loved it (it stopped charging at some point).

Reeder, the company that produced the C2, has (or used to have) a tablet. Probably same Android base, so should be easier to port Sailfish to than to a more different base platform.

Making it a true tablet OS would be more work. E.g. adding split screen (side by side two apps) view. But not essential.

From my side, yes, still interested! Size 6,8-9 inch, screen ratio something like 16:9, 16:10, or max. 18:9. Please never again this f* 21:9!

Me too! I would use it more frequent than a phone.
At first I ordered the Jolla tablet. After the disaster Jolla and I shared the cost. Later I bought one 2nd hand, but it was unusable. Battery did not last 20 minutes. Now it is totally black. Jolla doesn’t support it anymore. Waiting for a new supported one!

If you’re interested in tablet and not necessarily 4:3 there are options

There is a small chance for me to get this device. But before buying, please tell me, are there any special version requirements to successfully flash the device with SFOS, or simply any Xiaomi Pad6 ?

everything is in the linked thread and not to spam this thread i recommend replying there

you need brand one with android 13 or android 4 and hyperos 1.0, usually brand new one should come with early enough software (and you can still get them brand new which is sweet)
