How long does it take for an app to be approved in the harbour store?

21 days ago I submitted an app to the habour and since then there’s been radio silence.

Has it been denied for some reason? Do I have to find out from a random post in the forum like I did before?

I went out of my way to comply with the ridiculous rules for the harbour store, this might as well be the last time I even try to publish something there.

I think in the last community newsletter or meeting they told the qeue is round about three weeks.

Do you think I’d be asking if I knew the answer? Did you feel your answer was helpful when you were writing it?

All I’ve seen is it might take a longer time than usual. Well, 21 days is a longer time than usual, hence my question.

If you don’t want to answer, just don’t, it’s actually more helpful than answers like " this has been answered."

No, I’m just a little tired of reading all this complaining about the Jolla team, over and over about exactly the same issue, where no one seems to bother checking whether the questions are being answered or not.

You know as well as me, that there mostly are several channels/threads to keep up with if you are really interested in a matter, and not only self-centered.

I’m sorry, but this is the back side of a forum like this… you can’t follow just one thread if you want to know shit. You’ll probably have to read them all. Or at least skim them.

I did search and didn’t find an answer. And last time I submitted an app I didn’t get an answer for 4 months and discovered the reason pretty much by accident. As far as I know, they didn’t communicate at all that Android apps are no longer accepted and happily let me submit it, fill out all the info and then never even bothered to say “sorry, we don’t accept Android apps in the store right now, our bad.”

I don’t know their arbitrary store policy which they don’t bother communicating. How the hell am I supposed to know they’re just swamped and not ignoring me for whatever reason?

I’m trying to make SailfishOS better by creating apps and every time I’m ignored by Jolla over something that pretty much any other company would have answered, I care a little less. And every time someone on the forum wants me to somehow know every thread and every information that’s ever been written, I care a little less as well.

All I’m saying is, maybe next time don’t answer if you don’t want to - you might be the last straw or whatever the proverb is in English.

Well, I have to give you one thing. I also didn’t know that Android apps were no longer accepted. Not that I miss them, but the information must have flown over my head.

Could I get teaser, what app did you make? I love your apps, so eager to find out

Edit. Oh, and I love the fact that you push the your apps to Harbour. I know they rules are, we’ll something that could be worked on, but it is the place most newbies like me go first to look apps. Hopefully it will be approved soon

It’s the Spliit one, thought I might as well publish it there as it’s the easiest one of my apps to make compliant.

Are you pushing update there? Version 0.8.3 of the app was published there 13.2. so yesterday
