that worked for the certificate, indeed, thanks, i guess i’ll have to follow that bug too
one more thing, it seems the twitter account thing has dissapeared? is there a way to get twitter back? preferably native?
No, ex-Twitter (X - run by Elmo Murks) changed it’s API and it will cost a lot of money, to use the “new” X API, afaik.
This seems to be resolved with an update that came today
which issue are you talking about? i had the update today, but nothing got resolved for me?
Video recording was fixed for C2 in the release done today i.e. Sailfish OS 5.0.0.70.
yes! I can’t believe it worked!
So, i’m kinda looking for a native app or setting that can tell me how apps are using battery or if plugged in, to find out an estimated ETA on when it would be done, or what speed i’m actually charging? Is there such a thing?
AIDA64 has some battery info.
You will have to search for it manually in the Jolla store, because I couldn’t find a way to share a direct link.
I’m afraid the Jolla store is so outdated you can’t even share apps.
SystemDataScope by rinigus is a native SFOS app that can track all the power consumptions and more system information in a very visual nice and handy way. Time scale can be set according to your desire and what it shows for the battery is in Ampere or mA level which no other app has, so you have real values of power consumption and not just percent.
You can find it e.g. in Chum or Storeman. It takes some time to configure it but I use it on all SFOS devices since years.
Is there a way to not have notifications at night?
Are you sure your last couple of posts are on topic here?
I don’t know, but it is about jolla C2 ? and I guess the feedback is that i got woken up at night for an email; and i was wondering how to not have notifications at night?
Offtopic just to shut this down: Enable Do not disturb -mode when you go to sleep. You can add it to the top menu in the Settings.
No it isn’t [about the C2 specifically]. It is about SFOS in general.
The build quality on this phone is just exceptionally poor. The camera lens cover has always been loose (the glue doesn’t stick properly), causing dust to keep getting inside. Yesterday I wanted to use the C2 to take a picture, noticed it again had dust in front of the lens and decided to take off the lens cover, removed all of the horrible “glue” that had about the adhesive power of a sticky note, and reglued it with real glue. I held the cover tight to make the glue cure, and the back of the phone cracked in all directions. I paid € 300 for this…
The worst thing is that I haven’t even used it much, it’s just been laying on a table and occasionally getting charged for the next software update, but despite never even leaving the house, the back is now cracked like a teenager’s iPhone. My Xperia 10 II, which has been going in and out of my pocket for four years and has fallen on the floor many a time, only has a minor scratch on the plastic rim from falling on a very rough surface. My original Jolla phone, which I used for more than seven years and on one occasion even accidentally launched across the room, only had the paint on the edges fade.
Let’s hope the next Jolla phone will be built properly again, because even if it otherwise ticks all the boxes, if it’s built like this C2, I won’t buy it.
Mine has also the back totally cracked and for the next Jolla phone if the build quality is the same (reeder) I won’t buy it even if the specs are good…
I would consider the fairphone 6 port in that case.
For me the android app worked for some time then it broken again. Talking about the mobile connection.
Yeah, mobile Andy net is way better but not perfect jet. At least for me too.
There are already three of us. I also have a broken glass back. I would repair it myself if I knew where to get the replacement part. For me, this is also the first of 5 phones that has such damage. The last two Sonys (xa2 ultra and 10 II) both fell from the scaffolding and had no damage.
