Claimed. Thank you.

Same here, completed the order

Can Jolla Mind2 can also work with different languages, i.e. german and englisch?

Paid. Thank you.

Thank you, I’ve completed my order.

Claimed. Interesting to see what we can do with the device.

We have tested it with German, Italian, Finnish, Lithuanian. Based on this it does work even with small languages, when both the document and question is in same language. I noticed that if the document being chatted with is in English and Question is in Finnish, the response was a bit short.

When trying to claim the mind2 it occurred to me that the price is strange:

489 € - 75 € (downpayment when ordering) + 18,90 € (for shipping) should result in a final payment of 432,90 €. Not so with me: the link I received leads to a charge for the final payment of 452,79 €.

Why?

You may say it is only a 20€ difference. However, I simply would like to understand this difference.

Does someone have an explanation for me? I am residing in the EU.

I was also a bit confused when I saw the numbers, but RTFM webshop description doesn’t say like for the C2 that the 75,- EUR voucher will be subtracted from the final payment. You only reserve your M2 for -30% off the retail price with that 75,- EUR investment.

So in the end the total payment will be like this:

+662,79 EUR (retail price as shown in your voucher link, not 699,- EUR as shown in webshop)
-210,-- EUR (community discount, i.e. 30% off retail price == 452,79 EUR)
+75,-- EUR (your reservation ticket for the 30% off retail price community edition)
 +18,90 EUR (shipment to Germany)
------------------------------------------------
546,69 EUR
==========

This is what you’ll have to pay for claiming the device:

Your savings to the official price are not 30% as claimed by buying the voucher, but more like 18% if you add the voucher price to the final bill.

That being said I claimed a M2, too and happy to support this amazing invention. However the transparency regarding the voucher and real cost of the device should be more clear as I was initially thinking the same as @JoOppen that the 75,- EURO would be subtracted from the 389,- EUR community price. @asaarnio2 please make this more visible to potential buyers as this could leave some bitter taste and a feeling of being ripped off.

I noticed the same and wrote to Jolla - answer pending. I still do assume a mistake in the price calculation. The Shop told like: “Order now with the voucher and you get all this with €489, 30% off from the consumer price €699” which for me sounded like exactly what was done with the C2, that this Includes the voucher price - otherwise it is not a voucher at all IMHO.

And the order confirmation told:

“Secure your spot AND €75 Voucher” and “Price €489”, not “Price 564 €”.

We are looking into this. Thanks for pointing this out.

But have you really tested small languages if you haven’t tested your southern brothers Estonian tongue?

Muidugi!!

I live 100km from the Salo factory. As the 75€ is not considered in any way the postage 18€+75€=93€ is a bit high for that distance, even for the Finnish Posti

Subtotal €489,00 EUR
Shipping and handling €18,90 EUR
Total €507,90 EUR
Payment €507,90 EUR

Claiming succeeded.

Wondering, if 45 W PD3 charger was enough
with entry configuration when only one
SSD drive is installed.

Hi @nasta et al.,

45W PD3 charger should be enough and worth testing if you already have such charger – we have not managed exceed that on power consumption tests. RK3588 SoC itself seems to consume less than that we calculated earlier. That said, 65W PD3 charger is surely safer.

We’ll communicate a list of tested PD3 charger including both good and bad chargers.
