Banking apps on Sailfish OS

It’s probably the app that’s called Identifiering in Swedish. It worked perfectly close to two years ago when I tried it (and started using it). Now I’m on Android on Xperia 10 V for well known reasons so I can’t test it.

Tried this. Unfortunately it did not work. The app still thinks it was not installed from Google Play Store.

Is it working for you today? And did you install it from Google Play Store?

I haven’t got a phone to test it on right now. I installed it through Aurora store.

Installed George App (same problem) from App Gallery (Huawei store).

I think I installed AG direcrly from Huawei (apk). All if Huawei is no problem for you.

You could try modifying the AAS image to install Shizuku and use root mode in Aurora to install tge app.

Here’s another +1 for a wiki page. Seems not yet put up Search for banking | SailfishOS community wiki

MagNet Bank app in Hungary works well, it’s an Android app but works without MicroG as well.

Thank you for reporting. You could also edit the page to add more information: name of the app, version of the app, version of SFOS, hardware.

I would recommend everybody to edit the file themselves as I’m often disconnected from the net for weeks.

I’ve earlier reported the Danske Bank mobile app as working, but today I noticed a thing: if you try to bring in a “virtual barcode” via copy-paste it never goes through. The “Continue” (“Jatka” in Finnish) button stubbornly stays grey, even though everything is correct.

The same feature works on Android. This is a really stupid problem, and as far as I’ve found it’s the only thing in the GUI that doesn’t work.

Have you tried fiddling with the recipient’s name? Sometimes autofills don’t trigger the UI and there is this new check between name and account number.

The above screenshot is from when I adjusted the recipient name to match exactly what is expected (via the web browser interface), but it did not help on Sailfish. As I said, really stupid issue.

it might be a good idea to mention Plexus as an additional source somewhere in the OP?

it’s a website for submitting reports about how well apps run on de-googled and microG devices, which AAS basically is. it has lots of bank apps not listed here, as well as all kinds of other apps.

There is also Sapio which is sort of the same thing
