Discussion:
I had people complaining that recorded videos (via stock camera) or voice messages (via signal android app) are not loud enough from my xperia 10iii. Does anyone have a workaround?

I don’t understand what you are trying to say in your “Regression” section.

Sorry, New Year’s Eve (or the day after) may not be the best time to write a bug report
wetab73 , writes that all problems are solved on android 13 (62.2.A.0.525) Android 13 and SailfishOS on xperia 10 III - #15 by wetab73 .
I’ve never said that “all problems are solved”. I only said that the color banding / yellow tint issue and the echo issue are gone, plus the fingerprint sensor seems to work better. Audio recording volume hasn’t changed at all, and I’m not sure if it has anything to do with Android.

This bug is still present in SFOS 4.6.

Indeed, I can confirm that this annoying but is still present on the 10 III in SFOS 4.6. It takes increasing the source volume to 300% to get satisfactory audio level in recordings.

Is this now officially filed as bug? And yes, still present on my 10 III running SFOS 4.6.x
