From what I could gather, the Angelfish release on Chum uses QtWebEngine 5.15.14, which is based on Chromium 87.0.4280.144. This version of Chromium was released on January 8, 2021. So, it is not up to date at all. In fact, it is based on an even older browser version than Sailfish Browser, which is based on Firefox ESR 91.13.1. This version of Firefox was released on August 24, 2022. Some users reported 2 years ago that it was passing Cloudflare checks, but Cloudflare’s algorithms evolve quickly, and that may not be the case today; I haven’t checked. The best way to find out is to test for yourself.
