Now I enabled in Settings > Systems > NFC > Buetooth Secure Simple Pairing (which was diabled by default)
Now the pairing worked at once.
Further test:
NFC disabled completely, disabled Bluetooth for short, enabled Bluetooth again
→ next pairing works (even with disabled NFC)
(Perhaps this enabling “Buetooth Secure Simple Pairing” helps in a car, too.
EDIT: It doesn’t improve the connection in my car.)
No, In my case it was like the following:
Only for the very first Bluetooth-connection of my headphone with a brand new SailfishOS on a Xperia 10 III it was necessary to enable NFC (both options) to establish the connection.
Every further connection now works with NFC disabled.
(EDIT: The same behaviour observed with a “Bose AE2” headphone.)
