someone™ here in forum gave me that hint of 2 sim cards. and just yesterday i bought a pre-paid sim so that in next week when i travel i will be sure to have mobile phone coverage (2nd sim is active but that’s about all).
now that i have ‘2g only’ in mobile settings, idle power consumption last night was 0.88 %-units per hour. w/ 4g that is 3.6 %-units/h (and device “warm”).
that’s my situation briefly. i’ll collect more data and post info on the threads that already talk about these issues…
