“Startup” Situation was set to launch Signal and Firefox but Firefox is not saved on the list, and not seen when starting the application.
Updated packages. Fixed another typo + hopefully startup actions with multiple instances (like launching apps).
Also added NFC plugins (toggle and tag). If you wonder what “virtual tag” means: showing a tag once activates and second time deactivates a condition. Where as for a “non-virtual” tag the condition is active only while tag is all the time visible.
When I add multiple apps at Startup and restart phone, only the first item is present (and starts).
Yes, same for me. Only one application can be launched for now at startup.
But this update did work to make a nice silencing situation. When Call State is Ringing, Proximity On, Orientation is Face down… I can now have a succesful call silencing by flipping the phone face down, to set Ringtone 0/100.
The NFC behaviour seems inconsistant… I have a situation, where the accessory is charger, and a NFC tag to turn Hotspot on. The device sometimes vibrates, but the Hotspot is not always turned on. I’m trying to automate that I’d set Hotspot on when at a workstation, and charging the device.
Ok, I think I found the issue. In the service I had a “fail safe” removal of an instance if client connection for some reason gets broken while instance is added. But that connection was never disconnected, so closing the UI would remove a condition or action instance in any case. That “fail safe” is still there but disconnection should now happen properly. Updated packages.
Not sure about the NFC behavior yet. In general - at least on Android - the UI / display needs to be on for NFC to work at all. So might be the same case in Sailfish. Haven’t tested much myself yet…
The above link might be wrong? But I found the package and will report back. Yeah, I forgot about the NFC screen on condition you mentioned earlier. That might explain my experience today. Thank you for the update!
Thanks, link updated.
Updated packages again. This time Bluetooth plugins should work again - with or without app support.
But it should be another number. In this case 327.
i really like the idea of this app but havent used the j2 long enough to come up with regular schedules.
the only thing i tried to solve with it until now was automatically start apps, if theyre not running. would it be possible to start apps minimized? like runnig them in the background?
that would be wonderful for apps like xmatric that cant offer notifications while being closed.
can confirm: privacy switch works!
True in principle. But currently version updates are manual work especially on Sailfish and I’m too lazy. And also I try to keep stuff together for Harbour releases - from versioning point of view.
Unlikely. But I will check. Thanks!
Thank you very much!
Seems like I accidentally deleted the post - or something. Anyway, here it is again:
And yet another update. Now added also privacy switch as a condition.
The catch here is that I don’t have the latest Jolla phone. I.e. no way to test if it works or not. So, please, someone with the device: try it out. And if it does not work, then I may need some debugging help.
For some reason I had to reboot the device for the application to launch properly. But all good!
There is no requirement for versioning to be consecutive numbers. See https://harbour.jolla.com/faq.
It helps to use Harpoon. for updating a package from github.
Ok, that explains, thanks! I’ll try to improve in the future. But unless more bugs are found, this might be the version to go to Harbour next (after the previous one has been hopefully accepted).
