Hi and welcome! I would check from Gitlab (if the repo is there) if there is open issue about this or not. If not, please create one. I have experienced this as well and it seems that others also have same symptoms, for me luckily the emptying cache has fixed this. Worth to mention that I don’t use Matrix that actively, only light usage once a while.

I am not familiar with gitlab github and so one. I can just confirm, that Sailtrix is buggy on some corners.
- encryption keys from sailtrix arrives never to other room people/devices.
- device verification starts only some times and ends not always with success.
- call, video is missing
- file transfer? not sure that it works properly

I’m not familiar either or understand anything from software. But I highly recommend to make the jump towards unknown and looking how to report bug in proper place 
If I have been able to learn that, I’m sure anyone can. I believe it helps immensely the developer, which in this case is single person. If the issues are reported, I believe it is even easier for other devs to make commits when they see what is missing
If you want to report a bug, you can head over to Work items · Sailtrix / Sailtrix · GitLab and click on the blue butten “New Element” (roughly translated) on the top right.
In the dialog that opens, you can select “Issue” as the type. And then you can put in title and so on.
But I would recommend searching before, otherwise there are a lot of duplicate issues.
Also, you can join the Matrix channel and report issues there

If i click on the matrix link, my sailtrix opens but no room is added.. Just another bug 
Has anyone else gotten before this kind of message? I initiated the direct message through Sailtrix but recipient can’t see the messages and I can’t find any setting etc. that I could think to affect this
