It’s supposed to be like that Androud 13 for 32 bit devices is not part of this version, see announcement
I don’t think there has been any changes that would directly affect battery life.
There was no Appsupport update for the 32bit devices, i.e. Xperia XA2 and 10. We’ll see if we get that ready and working for the Sailfish 5.1 release.
Simply awsome release! Like b-day and Christmas together
Looking forward to test the bluetooth sharing.
Thank you, Jolla!

Thank you. I read the announcement again and indeed, it was not included. Apologize. I will wait. About five months and then Jolla 2 arrives!

I guess it’s the longest we had for a code name
Updated fine, restarted without any issues, works.
Can’t say much more at the moment, but it looks good ATM.
Seeing this on a list is really impressive.
please please please add the 10III AAS mobile-to-wifi fix to the final release
Yeah, had my first mobile data connectivity loss just the other day on .73.
Nothing seems to have crashed, AAS was alive and well, apps were working, but exiting wifi coverage to mobile data and suddenly same ol “Can’t resolve hostname x.y.z” on Aqua Mail.
Only same ol “stop/start AAS, ofono, mobile data” works to restore mobile data connectivity ![]()

Funny, I still have 11 after the update on my XA2+, yet NewPipe works again! So something changed into the right direction.
Mee too on Xperia 10.
And that is fully expected, if you read the first post in this topic.
First post mentions XA2 and 10 devices since they might use a 32bit SoC, but XA2+ uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC which is 64bit platform (Cortex-A53).
So if there’s any more information regarding this it would be good to know, in case there’s an upgrade issue or if this is nonetheless moved to a later release (to investigate the upgrade logs, etc…).
Yes, maybe a bit misleading to call them 32bit devices. The device and kernel are 64bit, but the Sailfish userspace on those devices is 32bit.
Xperia 10 II was the first device with 64bit Sailfish.
It’s been three weeks since 5.0.0.73 was released to early access users, does anyone know why it is still not released to all users?
The feedback I have seen from early access users does not indicate any major issues.
Apparently there are some.
And yet another week more… Don’t you know what happens every time you ask for a release date?
Alright, that’s now clear, thanks.
