Its not only about Bug reports from EA users, the timing for release is also connected, i think, to availability of the Jolla team: If they release, they better have a few days with free hands to correct whatever big Bug that may get reported by the bigger pool of users.
The EA pool is quite small, we may not go across all possible issue scenarios.
As stated (again) in the community-meeting yesterday, there will be another minor update for 5.0 and 5.1 shouldnât be too far away on the other hand, what means there are two updates in the next, lets say, 4-6 weeks (if everything works, like planned). It is possible, that 5.0.0.73 will never get to all customers, if the next minor update is already short before EA-release. I would assume, EA-Users are more likely happy about a lot of updates, but the average user is perhaps more happy about not to update every two weeks.
Technical data say that Xperia 10 is 64bit SOC, but SFOS runs in 32 bit mode because Jolla never adapted 64bit for the X10.

So:
CPU
QualcommŽ Snapdragon⢠630 Mobile Prozessor 7
CPU
Architecture
64-bit
Clock Speed
Up to 2.2 GHz
To say this clear including references.
Edit: may rely to Sony blobsâŚ
The next release will be a bugfix, so the EA must have uncovered something blocking the general release:
I donât know why they didnât release it last week (after two weeks), but I assume the reason why they didnât release it this week is, that next week is a skiing holiday in the Jolla office area, and they probably didnât want to drop a release to everyone, and then have (almost) everyone out of the office in case of some new, yet to be discovered, problems.
