I have flashed android 9 on my i4113 and got Io working so it is surely some security layer missing or not working on our end.
I want to thank for the creation of this thread, and will to add another broken app. Subito app. Not login possible. Both with or without microG
I’ve not MicroG but Google Play Services installed and I’m able to use the Fineco mobile code feature.
With Google Play Services works:
- PosteID
- INPS Mobile
- BPPB Privati
- BPER Banca
- BPER Card
- MyTIM
- Enel Energia
With Google Play Services doesn’t work:
- AQPf@acile (can’t login, the login popup disappears and nothing happens)
Good to know, thanks for correcting me. I wonder what the problem is then; maybe SafetyNet?

According to microG reporting, it says that SafetyNet is definitely not passing on Sailfish. Maybe’s that.
I want to make an update regarding Intesa San Paolo app: I’ve downgraded to SFOS 4.4 and it’s not crashing. I’ll try to update via OTA and report if maybe it is still working, but guessing it’s an issue of the new android version.
Edit: can confirm that after updating 4.5 intesa doesn’t work
With Google Play Services:
- Subito.it works well and it’s possible the login
Thanks to user Fabio I get a bit more practical and got installed Google services on 4.5 on my Xperia 10. With this intesa works downloaded from the the Google play.

A fun report: Junker app, the one for rycling that’s useful, works ok with MicroG, but doesn’t with the actual google services!

@fph When you report “Works with Google Services”, what did you do to get the Google Services into the SailfishOS Android runtime?
(was it e.g. with nemishkor’s installgapps.sh?)
I don’t have Google Services installed myself. Those are just reports from the experience of other users; follow the link to see their original posts.
Salgo app (tickets and bus stops infos) doesn’t report the position, and actually, it doesn’t work with GMS installed (via script). But YES with MicroG setup.
Intesa San Paolo latest version works PERFECT with GMS installed but has issues with MicroG (security reports not clean ROM)
Junker app (for recycling) shows an empty map ( error xamarin.forms.googlemaps) with GMS but works with MicroG.
Google Maps works perfect with GMS and MICROg but on GMS cannot locate you…
Well… what a mess 
If you want to locate you in Google Maps I did this steps:
- Enable GPS
- Open Google Maps and then close it
- Open Pure Maps on Sailfish OS and wait until it can locate you, then close it
- Open Google Maps again and tap to the finder icon in order to locate you
For me this (odd) trick worked.

Fellow Italians, anyone from Milan? ATM Milano’s official app (public transportation) just updated their app to a “brand new” version… and it doesn’t even start on SFOS (I have a 10iii with MicroG). I’ve been using the previous version for years, without any problems.
Can anyone confirm it’s not just me? The thing doesn’t even spit out an error message like Intesa San Paolo does, it just opens the small task manager window, then closes in the span of 2 seconds.
Not from milan but wanted to give it a shot
Downloaded the app and opened it
Opening time was seriously slow but it opened and asked me to log in or register
I clicked on the x and after e brief tour of the app, i was on the main menu
Xa2 with 4.6 and microg installed

11 but there will be an Upgrade of Android version with upcoming SFOS 5
Also my ATM milan app is not working on Xperia 10iii. Immediately shut-down when I open it.
