It’s slightly higher weight and wider, but I feel comfortable with it, I like it.
Maybe it is more difficult to flash it than the xperias because you have to follow more steps, but I did it and I’m not an expert.

No, voLTE doesn’t work
I’ve install SFOS but i want install the regular apps (WhatsApp and Spotify), but Waydroid doesn’t work
How can install these apps?
Nokia made devs mad with the n900 saying that it is dead with its gtk2 because nokia will swich to qt. The n9 made devs mad because nokia said it will be the last device. So it seems like nothing new. Although i also consider to swich to maemo-leste now. I am glad for what nokia and jolla did though
Someine knows how to install AndroidApps on OP6T?
If waydroid doesn’twork you can’t
I didn’t find a good tutorial to install Waydroid at OnePlus 6T
What does ‘at One Plus 6T’ mean to you in the context of your post?
I installed the port on my old OP6.
Until now I didn’t use a simcard, only wifi.
I have to reboot often to get an internet connection in my browser. The browser cannot display our sfos forum properly. I can only read posts, I cannot reply or login.
The sailfishforum app gets me a white page when I want to login. So no login possible there either … .
For the rest I can confirm that the hardware seems a better fit to sfos then the xperia 10 III that I use. Pure maps and scout server do a great job. I’ll be using/testing that on my vacation a lot next 2 weeks.
To be able to use it on a daily basis though, I’d need waydroid to work …
Thanks for the work so far!
You can get waydroid up and running any time you want.
As to browser issues you’re the first to report such and it sounds more like sfos issue
Can you point me in a direction to get waydroid installed and running; I get errors concerning ‘binder’ …
Yeap i have no clue, i’m not interested in bringing it up hence i didn’t, but anyone is free to do so
You could check some volla phone threads regarding waydroid
Maybe you need to update the sailfish-browser to login to sfos forum, I’m using this app in my op6 without problems
As I have nowhere else to update users cause I never made xda thread for this port… I shall do it here
To update to 5.0 you do
zypper ref adaptation-community
zypper in verdandiupdater-sfos
ssu dr storeman
Of course as root. Then you head to settings and use the updater to update. After update you need to enable storeman using
ssu er storeman
this is one time thing and future updates will be done only by using the already present updater
Update sfos to 5.0 solved my problem (new browser included). Thx
I re-installed and updated sfos, installed waydroid from chum and followed instroctions from GitHub - sailfishos-open/waydroid: Waydroid packaging for Sailfish OS ( as I did before). Now everything up & running. Thx for your reply.
Now dont touch it !
i did one a suggested update and boom
i would also backup the image
to me it seem the latest is not always the working one
wait you got waydroid to work?
wasn’t it lacking kernel configs?
I installed waydroid from chum. It downloaded the image but wouldn’t start - it would stall on the startupscreen of LineageOS. After that I installed waydroid-gbinder-config-hybris (as stated in the manual) and the lineageOS starts as it should … .
I don’t remember for sure if I updated SFOS to 5.0 first, but I think I did.
After my first install something got seriously messed up after I tried to boot from slot b as described in your manual on github. It woudn’t boot again from slot a. I thought I’d bricked it.
Then I took a week of vacation and when back I tried to do the whole thing again: LineageOS 16 and the SFOS. I noticed your manual on github was gone … and went to the verdanditeam website for the manual. Some things were left out.
I also saw your message here about updating to 5.0 and did so.
So the waydroid install through chum in combination with the manual here did it for me,
The only thing now not working on my SFOS OP6 is the camera … .
Thanks for all this - it makes my OP6 very useful!
