Oneplus 6(t) - THE port to get

If you’re willing to test, receiving sms might be fixed by @rinigus

I didn’t have to do it for Sony Tama port - same platform as used by 1+6. So, I doubt if the solution made for Nagara applies here. the service that was made for Nagara to enable SMS receiving is at GitHub - sailfishos-sony-nagara/fake-qcrilmsgtunnel: Service for qcrilNrd init

doesn’t hurt to try

indeed. but check first if you have this service running: vendor.qti.hardware.radio.qcrilhook@1.0::IQtiOemHook

if you don’t - that will not help

Hello guys, I need a litlle help with the installation on my OP6.
I followed the instruction on XDA closely and did:

  1. Downgrade to OOS 9.0 with msmtool
  2. Unlock OEM in developer settings
  3. fastboot oem unlock
  4. Boot into OOS9.0 and restart to fastboot
  5. fastboot set_active b
  6. fastboot reboot-bootloader
  7. fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-2-enchilada.img

Result: QUALCOMM Crashdump Mode

I repeatet multiple times with two devices, always same result.

You need to flash slot B with fastboot flashable oos9 image

https://sourceforge.net/projects/fastbootroms/files/OnePlus%206/9.0.9-OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_034_all_1909112343_dd26-FASTBOOT.zip/download

I should really add that to instructions as it comes up VERY often

or try step 6 first

try step 6 first does not work, I am back to crash dump mode after booting twrp from slot a.

Ok, how do I flash this? The complete zip file?

First: Downgrade to OOS 9.0 with msmtool Unlock OEM in developer settings fastboot oem unlock / Boot into OOS9.0 and activate developer mode/ fastboot fastboot set_active b fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-2 enchilada.img / install LOS on slot B (no on slot A, but B)/ reboot to bootloader / fastboot twrp / check in reboot is booting on slot A / use adb push for push Sailfishos zip file / install and enjoy in new best rom. Best regards (happy owner Oneplus6t).

you can try twrp-3.3.0-0-enchilada.img, do not flash twrp into mobile, just boot into it one is to install lineageos, one is to install sfos.

Thanks for this port.

It runs on my 256 GB Op6, but it shows only 6.0 GB diskspace.
Any chance to allocate the other 250 GB?

it should do that by default, if it didn’t you have something broken with your phone if /data is just 6GB

or you didn’t format /data and have 250GB of stuff

ok.. then i better wipe everything and reflash…

thanks.

on other phones things like that happened if the user tried to skip encryption at install time
