New Install Onboarding Screen Freeze

DESCRIPTION:

Currently upon new install phone freezes during user on boarding, specifically the “contacts tour” page and cannot exit, leave screen or continue forward in anyway.

After flashing phone multiple times, this still does not work.

Is this your issue?

Screen locks at intro setup (swipe left/right) contacts

It seems it is telling you to do a swipe all the way from the outer edge (to minimize the app). Previous swipes in the tutorial could be performed on the entire interface. The Xperia 10 II is a bit extra picky on what it considers all the way from the edge. You can always skip the entire tutorial and experiment a bit more with the OS actually running.

You can actually cancel the tutorial. Just tap the following screen corners in that particular order while on the starting page of the tutorial:

1. top left
2. top right
3. bottom right
4. bottom left

Then the tutorial will close and you’re back to your starting screen

Idk man, idk. Presumably everyone would skip the tutorial if there was one - i know i would.

A better explanation of what an edge swipe is probably would be even better.
To be fair, the OS is pretty useless without that particular gesture…
