but it did not add any engine to my list 
Does anyone know if the app is still working ?
TBH no idea for newer releases.
But since SFOS 4.x you can just visit your preferred search site and afterwards go to settings and you should find your search site there. Tap to install and select…

I suggest to organize this list better, e.g. using an opendoc, etc. or editable table page. As I have seen in this posts requests, clarifying posts, questions, etc. - all categories are mixed…
For me handling an reading this thread is not very efficient and also not clear, so that it doesn’t achieve the goal mentioned by the author of post #1 later (create a single wishlist for the users so that the devs can have better overview).
