Spontaneously one guy that I can’t ping because he doesn’t have account here, told me to buy edge 30 neo cause they’re selling it dirt cheap and it has chances for volte, has 5G and is the most compact device (from the devices from sane vendors) so randomly i searched, found one in my city and bought it all within span of one hour lol.
Then one friday evening i got most stuff working.
Currently broken things:
Wide angle back camera
Hanging up volte call (funny isn’t it, in a world where all my ports struggle with making volte call this one struggles with ending it)
suspend
fingerprint (it’s in-screen i aint fixing that… well… maybe…)
usb (charging works tho)
ui sounds are 100% volume no matter what (did anyone encounter that?)
no charging limiting
screen is 60Hz not 120Hz
Beside that everything works, wifi, bluetooth, 5G, volte, GPS you name it. Once i fix the suspend and hanging up it will be my daily driver for calls (i carry 2 phones one for calls/navigation second one for wifi/media/IMS/etc) instead of currently op6t
This is not release yet, because without suspend it’s not really usable, but if you have device you can jump onto my group and i can share dev build or we can talk about the port and you might consider local listings
I’ll edit this post later once i hopefully fix the suspend (pray for me)
Okay guys HUGE news, after some serious late-night debugging session with @mal we figured out the suspend AND usb issue, they were connected all along! Basically if we tell the usb controller there’s no usb connection it will suspend the usb and will stop blocking the suspend! And it sleeps insanely well, 12h with wifi and I lost like 5% of battery WITH WIFI.
And then I got connected to one android guy and he helped me a ton understanding what we should do next and basically we just need to tell the usb controller whether or not usb is connected and voila!
Also to be clear about the insane amount of progress we had in past 2 days, after i’m finish, god willing all that will be broken will be fingerprint. That’s it. nothing else.
This REALY is shaping to be next G2 lol not even op6 is that op (and it’s bigger bleh)
Very cool indeed and interesting. I note used moto neo 30’s for as little as €125 here in Spain, very tempting. But my 10ii is performing so well.
Is there a particular spec to this device?, the few I’ve found are 8gb ram & 128gb storage with 64mpx camera.
That problem has occurred on the volla ports running on the rephone (and I believe the GS5) … but that problem recently ‘went away’. So, for about 1+ years, email notifications were deafening. And I was very responsive to email.
