Jolla store: less apps on Xperia 10 III than on Xperia 10?

I’ve just upgraded from a Xperia 10 to a Xperia 10 III.

So far the transition has been smooth. The 10 III runs a lot better.

But when trying to install my apps through the Jolla Store I was unable to find various apps. For example the SomaFM app. When I check the store on my 10 the app is still in the store. So it seems quite some apps are not showing up on the 10 III but are showing up on the 10.

I have not been able to find any explanation as to why or even how to fix it.

Both devices run SF OS 4.5.0.21.

Yes. Developers need to recompile their apps for the 64-bit phones. Some unmaintained apps will naturally have dropped off.

See: Apps that haven't been ported to aarch64 (Store) for efforts on recompiling and/or taking over maintainership. There are some other threads too.
(And do search before posting)

Edit: sorry, this thread with basically the same name is more relvant: Apps that haven't been ported to aarch64

If you need SomaFM, I have an aarch64 build here:

Thanks! Too bad there is no notice or something in the store itself. But I guess this post pops up in the future for other people…
