@lakeboy You really need to think carefully to make the right decision. Honestly, this kind of concern comes up a lot whenever you are buying something. There are so many advertisements, and when the prices are all in roughly the same range and the products seem to follow each other so closely, it becomes confusing.
I would say think it through properly, but do not waste too much time either. If you buy an iPhone, you will get the same high-quality, well-optimized phone experience as always. There is no denying that. On the other hand, if you buy the Jolla Phone, in a way you are not only showing your support and appreciation for a company like this, but also signing up for an adventure.
That is how I see this community to some extent. There are good times ahead and plenty of adventures to experience. I believe having that phone would make the whole experience even more enjoyable and take it to another level.
The choice is yours.

it’s a lot more than showing support and an adventure… you are not giving your data for free to big tech that sales it and stores it in their AI centres forever and to recall whenever they want….
Privacy is priceless and Jolla is the first today…
