Will the event on Jolla Day the 8th of July be streamed or should I purchase tickets for e-convention somehow? hope to follow remotely, since I am on maternity leave.

As long as I got guaranteed not to be seen in the stream … Privacy focused phone event streamed over the internet, sounds a bit contradictionary, does it?

Why would you go to a public event if you are that scared? In this regard I hope they film the speakers not the audience, since I am interested in what they have to say and show and not in who’s attending the event.

At least community meeting in summer 2025 was livestreamed and Jolla only streamed their employees who spoke in the event. They didn’t stream the audience.

I doubt that’d cause anything except making other people feel “Myötähäpeä“ for the guy.
(“Myötähäpeä“ means someone embarrassing themselves so badly that other people start of feel embarrassed on their behalf)

Hi folks,
I bought my Jolla Phone from the first batch. Since I will be on vacation in July and August, I talked to a friend of my if he can receive the packet. So I took his address as shipping address. On the shop website everything is fine in terms of the address. But looking on my invoice PDF the first and second name of the shipping address is my name (the bill to name) not his name (the ship to name). Hence, the ship to address is wrong and the parcel would be returned. I guess there is something wrong with some automatic fields in the document template. I just wanted to mention it because I am worried which source of information will be in the end the one for the parcel delivery. Does anybody else have this use case and can confirm the wrongish ship to address?

Will it be possible to buy the phone in the autumn, or is preorder the only possibility?
I think Jolla will keep going on with this patch system, but I might be wrong here.

As I have a working C2 and a Sony X 10V laying in my cardboard, I am not on the boat. Maybe I’ll wait until the last J2s are sold - as with the J1 back in the days, buying it with a discount.
