My JollaPhone2026 says sometimes 4G and sometimes 5G

It seems it is how this works. It only switches to 5G when it actually needs the speed boost.

That is very likely the NSA (Non Stand Alone) 5G that @attah wrote about. I guess that is also exactly how android does it too, android misleadingly naming always ‘‘5G’’ its connection for both stages (4G+5G move during high activity)
