Jolla Phone Day1 celebration event July 8 6pm at Narinkkatori! - practical info & FAQ

I would also like to know if it is possible still to get it. As unbelievable as it sounds, I had to leave because a seagul attacked and took a bite on my daughters finger while she ate pringles outside of Kamppi, they were there with my wife and I was just about to go and wave to them from the balcony and thats the reason why they came out from Kamppi :upside_down_face: and Im not kidding.

Would have loved to stay longer.

It’s much more fun, if you don’t spoil it for yourself. But on the other hand, in today’s world, it’s pretty hard to avoid spoilers :frowning:

Unfortunately I’m clinically impatient and I need spoilers to live xD

Jolla crew, thank you for organising this nice event ! You must have worked hard to make this happen.

When I saw the long queue I had associations with the queues for the newest iphones in front of the Apple store in Amsterdam. Those queues have gone years ago. Now there was such a queue for the Jolla2 !

I got a chair (limited mobility), fortunately, otherwise I would have missed the performance: the talks and the exiting music about the new ringtones. Especially the Finnish kantele was interesting.

The phone is well balanced, lays good in de hand, is not too big, not bulky and not heavy at all. Well done! Thanks to Vincent (London, Hongkong) who worked on the hardware.

We had our names on, but we saw no other names.

Thank you Jolla, for a very nice community event!

You have obviously put in a lot of effort and planning, and I appreciate it immensely. I would have loved to be with you in Helsinki, but at least I could enjoy the Peertube stream from home (had some distraction from preparing dinner with family members  )

The first (?) public performance of the ringtones and songs was the part I liked the most, but the other talks were also good. It is different addressing the community rather than media or investor, and I think you hit the right balance. Also, composer @antti360 was such a good choice to lead the ceremony!

Soon I’ll have the phone in my hands - can’t wait to check it out!

Could you send a private message at the forum, thanks. Let’s get this sorted out.

Was Inari Blue just for those attending the release or for the first batchers in general?

It was said to be included in the first 3 batches (10000 pcs)

Careful with the glass screen protectors there’s a pre-applied plastic protector on the screen already that needs to be removed. And pressing the top circle was not enough to let it fully push out air, I side swiped top after I pulled down and then spent 5 minutes chasing the bubbles out.

From the photos we’ve seen there is a plastic film with a protruding pull tab on the top right I think.
Did you not see that or is there another film below this one?

There’s another one yes! The pull tab one and a factory screen protector I guess

Everyone in the Batches #1-3 (aka the first 10000) will get it.

Is it coming by post later? Atleast I didn’t get one at the event.

Workers were handing them (wrapped in foam plastic) out to everyone with a wristband when they revealed the Inari Blue cover and -ringtone. If you didn’t get one, try contacting @rainemak to sort it out.

Organizers even asked those who possible did not yet get Inari Blue to raise their hands. Nobody did, so they assumed everyone got it.
