Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker

Hi Rodo,

No I haven’t cancelled my order as of yet. I am still in doubt. However, I know I won’t be buying another Android, nor a Iphone ever in my life again. So, I am left with a few options. I am also interested in both Ubuntu touch and /e/os. I have been having a good eye on fairphones products. I actually thought that would be my next phone untill i stumpled upon SailfishOS and Jolla, which led me to purchase the Jolla Phone. I can live with the slobby camera (not a photographer, and mostly just taking pictures of my kids and whatever I experience) also many of the apps not supported, I already deleted a lot and went off most social media except youtube and reddit, but I deleted the apps and only use through private browser etc. I use browser as much as possible for whatever services out there. So a lot of things won’t be a problem, and I really wanna Love the Jolla Phone to be honest. I am just in doubt, after seeing so many having issues with this phone (calls etc) which I find standard phone features, that just have to work. Espacially doing my position of my job that requires I can be in touch with boss and collegues almost 24/365. I can’t have a basic phone not working. But I am also late to the party, so let’s see if there will be fixes before my shipping is even near.. I really wanna support Jolla as a company, just think they need some basic help with having a public company, and with a project that turned out being this big of a beast. I am in no doubt those Jolla guys knows how to make phones and OS’ I am just in doubt if they are good communicaters, marketeers and business people. If I were alone and I didn’t like my job, I would honestly offer my help for free in regards of these areas. I hope someone will pick it up, as this phone hopefully becomes a success in the long run.

I myself have a Fairphone 4 with e/os. It is perfect for me. I haven’t had any problems with that phone. Murena also has a good customer support so I don’t think you will regret having a Murena phone with e/os.

I didn’t notice yesterday, but we reached the end of the line for batch 1 entries in the community shipping tracker. Obviously there are still a lot of entries that haven’t been sent/received but after seeing the shipping statuses ‘creep down‘ for a few weeks this is quite an exciting sight

Calm down it will will most probably be delivered in the coming days delivered if not today then next week.
For me it took 7 days for delivery after i received the mail and it was delivered by Bring to a pickup point, in my case a ICA maxi store.

Well then the the Jolla C2 they have sent me will appear on Wednesday. The only thing is that I did withdraw my order for that phone August 2nd. 16 days before they started the delivery. I ordered the Jolla 2601 instead.

You probably read very little from the majority of people who don’t experience any problems so the perception may be a bit skewed.

It is not Bring, that is delaying things. It is Posti that take an eon of time to deliver to Bring.
I mean… I could probably use my ‘Jolla’ to faster bring it over the baltic sea. :joy:
…where there actually is at least two ferry’s a day.

I see that the Jolla C2 that they delivering to me is stuck in Lieto since 1929 yesterday

I haven’t been to Stockholm fo many years, so there might be even more ferry’s a day.

Well those fuckers are incredible, I just got this message…

Paketboxen var full och därför har paketet vidarebefordrats till ditt utlämningsställe.

No info where my ‘utlämningsställe’ might be, no info on when I can fetch it… no info at all actually. Just the usual middle finger saying wait and be happy about it. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

They are like Postnord

They actually are PostNord… just under a faked name (Bring).

Not at all, Norwegian Bring AS is wholly owned by Norwegian Posten.

Not that it makes any difference in how they perform, but, hey, facts matters.

Of course, I was under the impression that Bring was a sister company to PostNord, I was obviously mistaken. Thank you for correction.

I got my phone yesterday, order 58xx.

I got it delivered by Bring and I selected that it would be delivered to the closest store when I got the mail with the shipping tracking from Bring. I don’t even try to get it delivered to my home since it fails most of the times anyway.

Well, my home is about 20 km from anywhere, so I tried to get the package to where I visit fairly frequent. Seems it doesn’t work very well that way…

I just recieve a mail from noreply@jolla.com

Your Jolla Phone is in the Batch #2 to deliver next. If you haven’t completed the final payment you can still do so latest by Aug 31 and lock your delivery for September.

To complete your final payment you can use the below link. This is a personal offer for those who have decided to defer and is applicable for such customers only:

USE THIS LINK TO COMPLETE YOUR FINAL PAYMENT

But I complete my order in april, 20… its normal?

That link of your is leaking your 99€ pre-order discount code…

You missed the part

People had originally the option to defer the payment for later, so this is probably relevant to them.

Thanks for pointing out that the link was shared (though I imagine it’s “dead” now, since I already used it to pay on April 20th when I finalized the order). I’ve edited the message and removed the link anyway.
Did everyone receive this email? I ask because, even though I completed the payment (and have the receipt), I didn’t get a confirmation email—though the order shows as confirmed in the shop.
I noticed the email says “if you haven’t completed…”, so I’m wondering if I received it because, for some reason, Jolla didn’t get my final payment…
