Jolla Phone Community Shipping Tracker

They are not an Amazon. They might get discounts like 10-20%.

Retail price example with UPS – 19 euros for 1kg 20x10x10cm 1kg parcel delivery from Finland to Ireland (lowest price, delivery within a week)

Even if they have 20% discount with UPS – they are charged like 15 euros

No, it isn’t.

That is what the European climate fascists have done to us. They don’t want us to buy things abroad… unless you climb your horse yourself, and go get it.

You don’t have a horse?
Me neither, but I am seriously thinking of buying one, since it will soon become the only way to escape the every day surveillance.

Edit:
Did I mention that I’m living on the country side?

You probably should add this notice at the same row (or below it) as the counter and not after the table data, or someone will come here later complaining how they haven’t received anything and X% of the phones are delivered.

You receive the tracking number when Jolla creates the label and it is up to them when they have time/choose to deliver the boxes to Posti and, if they miss the daily pick up at the local post office, then it won’t move (or even register some cases) until next working day (in best case).

The package can stay 3 days alone in the Posti’s sorting center in Lithuania. That is just how they do things.

Welcome to Finnish Posti pricing.

Aesthetically it pains me, but I added it. Do you think this is sufficient? (The notice below the table data is a bit more specific)

I had that in other shops. It’s just a matter of workflow when the goods aren’t ready. For example a Jolla employee at the logistics get handed a list of 100 names for this week’s phones, prints 100 labels on boxes, starts collecting the items. During the week the assembly team prepares the phones, which go to the boxes one by one.

They charge the normal price… go to ebay.com, search for a random item, say a mobile phone. In the left menu, limit the location of the item to “Europe”, then see the delivery costs, it’s in the range 15-25 €.

There’s currently someone in France selling their J2 on ebay ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/377391675567 ), 590€ + 22€ shipping by UPS. That’s how much delivery costs in Europe.

I see that this topic has stirred up quite a lot of emotion :). Perhaps my expectations regarding delivery times are too high, but I’m used to receiving parcels within two days in my country.

It is fine as it is, but could have been even shorter like “All amounts and percentages are based only on entries in this sheet” if it helps your pain

Thanks a lot, it being less wordy helps a bit.

And here is the first (scalper) from Germany including the special Day One TOH ebay.com/itm/206472357148

The unfriendly description of the person, is fully and only because based on the pricing of 725€ not on the person itself.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/377391675567 got another one too

That listing was already posted before and that’s a fair price, in the thread i mentioned. Saying fair as there seems to be no real markup from batch#1/batch#2 pricing. But +130€ seems not quite right.

You know even here on the forum we have the first “scalper”?

I’m not saying a scalper, just the second ebay listing

Guys, I’m not the biggest stickler for staying on topic but the derailing is getting slightly out of hand.

On a bike, not on a horse. The horse also contaminates.

Just FYI, I live in Finland and received my package in 2 days  Posti just takes time with going other countries, remember that Finland is island. Everything goes first by boat before they can be put in truck

When sending something from Germany to Spain (DHL via Truck) it takes usually around 5 (!) days between giving the parcel to DHL until its delivery.

And I am talking about two big cities, not two small villages in the middle of nowhere.
