I am trying to explain all the limitations i see -regardless of form factor- and you keep trying to avoid reality.
Even as a “full linux device (or distro to be more exact)” sailfish isn’t on the same level as my laptop. In theory it should have been right? Its full linux isn’t it? But various factors -others due to jollas extremely bad choices and others out of their control- make the os worst that it should/could have been even on that level.

The Jolla Tablet’s only real problem is the software: hundreds of bugs (both in general and specific to the Jolla Tablet) kept getting introduced but were never fixed (somewhat understandably, but still a shame), and since an update a few years ago, something keeps the CPU active at all times, causing the battery percentage to (literally) continously drop while you’re looking at an empty home screen. I loved using it and Sailfish definitely works wonders on a large screen, but having to keep it connected to a charger (and actually charging due to the permanent high CPU drain) all the time caused my battery to inflate, so I had to stop using it. If not for those problems, it would still be perfectly usable today.
Prettt sure that was just hw failure, my tablet works great still (or maybe you installed some of the experimental qt5.15 libs, those were causing a ton of issues on the tablet like unreliable booting without plugged in power, wifi chip not loading… you name it), it’s amazing how usable it still is 8 years later, and no idea about special words, it is what it is, ppl who never used sfos in tablet form really should not be spewing bs about usability

but with sim2 call work only in 3/2,5 netw and You cannot send sms (Elisa/Finland)
Just out of curriosity, what happens if you swap the SIM cards? Just trying to figure out if it is issue with the slots on the phone or with the SIM card/operator. What is the operator of the first SIM?
I just change same sim card from slot 1 to slot 2 and shut the phone and then started it again.

Yes, I had it working on my map (Here we go), but after a reboot it didn’t work. I went in to settings and just change them and then change back and it worked again. I find the same unreliable behavior with the phone and message sound!
My main feedback and reason I will probably wait a bit until it becomes my daily driver: the WiFi is really erratic, struggles a lot to connect, and when it connects it seems to randomly disconnect, far too many reboots are required to get things done and that’s a problem for a daily driver.
Please please put some work on reliability of internet connections and get VOLTE going, once that’s done we’ll have a pretty decent device and the rest of bugs can be sorted.
Can you measure WiFi signal strength with WiFi Analyzer from openrepos or any other app?
Mine in little apartment is -58dBm up to -30dBm on 2.4GHz which is pretty good AFAIK. On 5GHz is a few db worse as expected due to higher frequency (lower wall penetration). It works very reliably.
Apart from the fact that sometimes doesn’t automatically reconnect.
I rarely need to reboot. When do you need to do that?
I’m sure that sailors are working hard also on C2 connectivity front.
At 2.4ghz I see -65 in the main room which is the furthest away from the router. But even if I’m standing right next to it the signal reported never goes over 60%. Complety unable to select 5ghz.
I did try changing WiFi channels with no result and also the C2 is the only device at home struggling to connect, have everything from a Linux laptop to Panasonic TVs, nothing else drops connection.
And I have to reboot every time it decides to either show as not connected or it shows connected but no website can load. Never reconnects on its own unless I reboot. Cheers!
IIUC turning WiFi off and back on in top menu doesn’t help?
Is Network reboot in Accessories also unable to resolve the reconnect?
Nothing but rebooting brings it back, I tried WiFi off, going to airplane mode and out, tapping on network reboot I’m accessories.
It’s just a bit annoying especially when setting up and downloading stuff, just need to keep going and testing, but would really like to have a bit of stability with connections that’s all.

You probably mean -60dBm. That’s low. Do you have any other device that can measure the signal?
No idea why. Didn’t try to use it yet. But some others also reported that issue.
