If you mean you paid for the “Support & get a license”, then it is for the legacy Sony devices like Xperia XA2, Xperia 10 (Plus), Xperia 10 II and Xperia 10 III.
You need to get the “Free Trial for supported devices” in order to get the access to all the supported devices. The Xperia 10 IV and Xperia 10 V free licenses includes the access to the AAS for now since it is beta.
Well if you want to support the company and can take the financial hit, you can leave it there, but if you want your money back from a license you are not going to use, you can contact Jolla through Zendesk and ask for refund. Please notice they have a very very long backlog of emails and support tickets waiting to be handled, so it can take quite some time to process.
@spjolla , If AAS is required, perhaps stay on the official release, otherwise consider the soon to be released community port. I think it is already more feature complete than the Jolla port, and over the next few weeks it is more likely to keep improving than the Jolla port, I think anyway. Though note, no Waydroid, or AAS at present. Food for thought before you flash the official port:
I am currently trying to install Sailfish OS, but it seems that the official download link for the Sony software binaries is broken or no longer working.
Does anyone have a working mirror or an updated link for the required binaries?
I am not sure of what is being said I have an xperia 10 V with a license with aosp 13. and it works better than the 10 iii. And it is better since you can activate the camera. for the bt and the reader I got used to it it’s like the C2 no fingerprint reader and a bt which works more or less. despite all these problems I like my 10 v. I’m looking forward to sos under Los with aosp. I almost went for it but when I saw that there was no Asop I didn’t install it. I must say Los is quite difficult to install. I already tried at the time I was missing some files. I just froze the X10 V and it was complicated to go back Emma didn’t see my pone and under Linux it was the same.
Did I miss something? Your camera is working in Sailfish OS on an Xperia 10 V? If that’s true and not a mistake in the model numer or something like that, I will have to reflash my Xperia back to SFOS from Lineage.
the camera can work if you follow the instructions of shark’s fabulous work
you just need to flash the android v4b blob
see instructions
Afterwards there is just one command to place to activate my camera. But at startup you will have to re-enter this command.
Afterwards there is an Sos port under lineageOs by Shark, it started on the 10 Iv and now the 10 V.
the port works very well on camera but no waidroid or Aosp for the moment Shark is actively working on it and we congratulate him.
I didn’t switch to lineageOs because lineageOs was a very bad experience for me. I froze my 10 V and it was complicated to restore it.
but by just flashing the v4b blob and with the instructions to activate the camera
it’s functional
I am impatiently awaiting the progress of shark for flashing lieneageOs with Sos
