I have tried and tried, but I am unable to get exclusive audio out of 3.5 mm port and or usb-c wired headset. The headset works perfectly with any other unit. I have even tried the app “audio output” from Chum. Nothing works.
Scenario is when I put some audio on, it plays in speaker AND headset.
BT headset works like a charm. Any of you have the same scenario?
There is a similar fresh bug report. Did you already triedto test hardware with CSD?
You play audio with which software ? Have you try to configure with “pactl” ?
I did try CSD, well the USB-C headset is never working. I have gotten the 3.5 mm to work a couple of times, but after a while it stops working
I’ve tried different sources. Browser spotify / di.fm and also Android apps. Pactl? Is it pulseaudio controller? Cant get the hang of whether it is controlled in a app or through terminal?

Restarting audio from Settings helped for me from upper linked post. But my my bumper is also trimmed for a long time already.
Thanks for the advices, but to clarify that my bumper (cover) has nothing to do with this. Is there someone who has been able to use the usb-c port for external headset without speaker on at the same time?
You didn’t wrote if you restarted sound from Settings.
yes pactl is a CLI, through terminal.
