Can anyone give me a hint or some guidance on how to get Play Services running on the Jolla C2? I followed Installing microG on Sailfish OS but I can’t get the Signature Spoofing to work.

Thank you for your very helpful comment… As most devices still run on SailfishOS 4.x which uses a different Android version as far as I understand I thought it makes sense for findability reasons to separate it into a new thread since it probably won’t be the same process.
If everyone disagrees I gladly delete this one.
And in a couple of weeks (or whenever 5.0 hits other devices) 5.0 will be the normal in that thread, which has been the go-to place for coming up on 2 years. This is a forum, not a chat.
I would really appreciate a less condescending tone - really makes me not want to be active in this community. I know this is a forum and I have been using them for a decade… The original thread looks much more like a chat for me as forums have the nice advantage of being able to use different threads for guides concerning different versions of an OS.
I don’t think that putting everything in one giant thread is great as it makes it much harder to find things imho. That being said, I don’t have a problem with moving things over there if this is the culture in this forum.

Hello Paviro. That original discussion is more of a chat, but it’s still worth wading through. I did keep an eye on it for quite a while, and I’ve not checked it in a while, but as far as I am aware no one had yet found a particular way of installing it and it working as intended. I could be wrong though.
Not much help I’m afraid but hopefully you’ll find some info on the other chat. Let me know if you manage it!
